Boni, Ed's doing fine, however I still don't think he's forgiven me for the unflattering portrait of Carol I painted, and that he was subsequently obliged to take credit for; Carol never forgave Ed for that either.

Walther at e-on helped me figure it out. My mistake was that I was editing materials by selecting the object and opening the editor from the upper right, instead of editing the material from the material summary windows (F6). Working fine now.

Renderosity offers the best deals for 3D content around. The coupon event (that expired yesterday) was very generous. That said, even with a $5 minimum this grab bag isn't attractive, especially since you can't choose which of the 39 items to treat yourself to.

Okay, I find that when I proceed to CHECKOUT STEP 2 of 4 (cart items & shipping options), the cart items suddenly appear. I guess I can take it from there.

Woohoo! It works! This time I tracked down and installed Python 2.6 since this is the version that Blender says it was compiled in. Thank you again for putting me onto the right trail!

Hmmmm. I read the rest of the link and they suggested installing Python 2.0.6. I did that, changed the environment variable, but I still get console errors. Maybe I need Python 2.6?

Wow! Import now recognizes Python. Thank you haloedrain.
Unfortunately, import now fails with the following console error:
"ImportError: Module use of python27.dll conflicts with this version of Python."
Do you know what that means?
