Quote - I've actually removed the link, as the content, language, as well as some the pictures posted are completely inapropriate.Â
I hadn't thought about that, so yeah, thanks.
Thread: anime render.... HOW?! | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I use DAZ Studio and Poser 6. I have Poser 7 but don't use it.
How do I do an Anime style render? Here is a link to what my renders look like right now.

http://i62.photobucket.com/albums/h107/pbellows/animechick3.jpgPlease let me know what I need to do.
The problem with Poser is that the images never quite look flat. The problem with z-tooning is that the characters seem to lose more detail than I'd like. I've been working with photoshop actions for awhile and have come up with a flat look that I like without posterizing the image.
This is a really rough and dirty animated version of the process, and I don't know if this suits your needs. You might be able to customize the process to do what you want it to if it's close to what you're looking for.Â

Thread: Daz Flip Hair Morphs | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm R K Walters... (a/k/a McCritical for some of the really archaic files still in Freestuff) Sorry about the late timing in responding to all this. If anyone has the morphs, you have my permission to repost them. I'm living in Osaka at the moment and I'm at the mercy of an internet cafe to occasionally check things out and almost all of my archives are back in the States.

Timotea sez: "Thanks, Anton! But what I really want to know is ... How did you convince your friend (cute friend that is) that posing naked was completely necessary for capturing the essence of phonemes?? ;-)" By the look of those pictures, I'm willing to guess they're from a makeover or stage production...the pulled back hair and the framing suggest it. Anton...seeing your interest in the subject, have you considered redoing the phonemes pictured above for the P4 characters as a series of morphs? I'm sick of Posette's lips moving like Senor Hand. Unlike your friend, the P4 female's face distorts grotequely every time she utters a sentence.

ron sez: "I hope that DAZ realizes this and won't make such an effort to leave behind so many loyal fans." I hope you meant Curious Labs....

The obj and cr2 were developed from scratch--however, I can't say that the project wasn't inspired by Anton's Spywear. Anton's pretty inventive, and I figured he had a much better approach to the problem than I would (which is why I bought it--to save the headaches and time involved with creating this myself). As it turned out, Anton's solution wasn't quite the one I was looking for, and I developed something that I felt was a little more flexible. Thanks for the link, however, I'm more concerned with protocol than legalities in making this available.

I'm hoping this will not be restricted to non commercial use. I'd also suggest that anyone selling or distributing an item based on the mesh be required to provide a read-me with an URL to the original figure.

I second the Corvair--I'd also like to see some of the muscle cars of the 60s and 70s I'd like to see the '69 Pontiac LeMans and '70 GTO, '71 Chevy Malibu, '72 Oldsmobile 98 and 442, '79 (Blackbird) TransAm. Preferably in convertable versions. I'd also be interested in GM body shapes used by more than one manufacturer. Ones that could be modified by custom props to change the make and model.

Just curious--why does it look like the background doesn't quite match the foreground? Both are impressive, but for some reason it looks like she's in front of a backdrop. I guess the good guys do wear white, when they bother to wear anything at all

Give me your e-mail address and I'll send it to you. I had to take it down to make space for some new props for freestuff.

You don't think DAZ would give the answer away so easily...that's why I'm certain that it's a Charlton Heston character...you know, from that movie where he sees the Statue of Liberty and says "Soilent Green is...hey...get your hands off me you fithy ape!!!" I hope it's a Cornelius morph for Michael P.S. Great image (derivative of Ruslan Karablin) at the link above.Thread: What's the name of that site? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Sounds like Wayne's site to me---although, i believe that the vanity is part of his CD sets at this time. Actually though, the CDs are probably the best investment in Poser props out there, and Wayne is really good at answering questions and solving problems (he's pretty Mac friendly, too...directed me to a copy of Joliet Volume for my extensions folder so my computer could read his CD format). My advice is to get the CDs and ask Wayne (or Cal on Renderosity) to send you a copy of the vanity set while you wait for them. The link to WG illustrations above should take you there. P.S. Purchasing or downloading anything from Sharen's or Wayne's site is definately a WYSIWYG experience. The stuff looks good online, and it will definately be amongst the best constructed models and props in your Poser library.

Posable, and with ERC? Thanks, Dan? That should take my artwork in a totally different direction.
Thread: Aiko uses Victoria Texture Maps | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
April sez: "thanks for thinking of the remap Freakachu :)" It's an excellent remap...It also allowed me to use Anton's subdividing MAT files flawlessly on both Stephanie and Aiko (which was the motivating factor in hacking Aiko's file in the first place). With Anton's catsuit MATs and Aiko's spandex morphs, there are now a lot more possiblities for Aiko "suit" designs that allow seperate texturing for the skin.

Magnets = 10 (fantastic for hair and loose clothing) Joint Parameters = 9 (fantastic for adjusting clothing) Wave = 8 (used at low levels, good for randomizing hair movement in animations along with standard morphs)
