By the way, I know that it looks like the watch is going to tip over the side of the box in the smaller pic. I didnt re-render since my question was really about the glass. :o)

Hey sfdex, His site is great isnt it? I was amazed to read it only took him a couple of days to do his airship painting. Im not embarassed to say it took me a whole lot longer than that to do my humble model. Of all the textures in there, the actual blimp textures is the one I was thinking of changing, co I cant argue with you there. As for the size, I think I did that on purpose (I did the actual modeling awhile ago , so Im not sure), I liked the look of the larger blimps (lets not go into the subconscious psychological motivation for that choice, ok? :o) ). I am working on putting the airship in a more canyon-like setting. At first I thought of just modeling an environment, but I think it would be neat to try and insert it into an actual photograph. Cheers and thanks for the comments, Max

Hi Dex, Youre right about the window. On the original iPods there is that glass plate. On the new ones Im not quite sure. Ive only seen photos (i used pictures from the Apple site as reference pics). Ive actually ordered a new 15 gig ipod but havent received it yet. I plan on making any needed modifications to my model once I have the real thing in my hands. By the way can I interest you in a 5 gig original iPod? :o) Cheers, Max

Thanks for the replies guys. Yeah I think Ill forget about modelling the holes in the headphones for now. Thanks for the wire comment Mark. They turned out a lot better than I thought they would. Although simple in theory, I always have trouble with twisting and curving cylinders. Cheers, Max

I may be a little dense here, but Im having trouble getting the end of the inner opening to curve. I placed all the cross-sections, that was easy,so at this poing Ive got the opening, but the ends are straight lines and come to a pointed end. Now how do I get that part to form a curve? Sorry if this sounds rather convaluted, I hope my explanation makes sense to someone. :o) Cheers, Max

In case youre wondering, the whole image Im working on is a vintage style microphone. Thanks again for all the info. Cheers, Max
