No problem. :-) I'm glad I started this thread to ask, if means that the confusion is cleared up for others as well and it could be of help in some way.

RobynsVeil,
I saw this link first, which is what is what wanted me to make sure that my assumption is correct when I first posted this. Hopefully this link will help.

Thanks, .Artemis.! Just had to make sure. :-) Really glad we found that Poser 7 box and I saved my serial number before switching to Windows 7. LOL. ;-)

Thread: Question about upgrading to Poser Pro | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Yeah, that's true, there's not much info about it, although I think they say Sidegrade is for Poser 6, 7 and 8 users. I feel silly for having to ask, but I don't want to charge it, then suddenly realize I chose the wrong one and have to go through a lot of tech support. LOL
Anywho... Thanks for your reply! :-) Thankfully we've found the box for Poser 7. It's been awhile since we've installed it.
Take care and God Bless,

Thanks for the link, Miss Nancy! I reset my downloads a few days ago, and redownloaded the M4 Base today. Hopefully this fixes the problem.

LOL!! Aww! Well, thank you for the tutorial in this thread! I appreciate it! I don't mean to seem ungrateful, but I've already tried a similar method to make the morph to move the lashes. I'm having more of an issue with the lashes going weird when I create a morph for the eyes in ZBrush.

To follow Miss Nancy's suggestion, I'm going to post a picture of what happens after I've loaded an "eyes" morph onto M4. The problem area starts on the bottom lash near the lacrimal and works it's way towards the middle of the lower lid. Upon closer inspection, I'm not sure if I caused that with the morph or if it's an eyelash problem. I thought it looked normal in ZBrush when I was working on it earlier.

Quote - Oh, no, not offended, or I wouldn't have tried to help further. :) Sorry if I came off as abrupt. Zbrush does make you jump through hoops sometimes and it can be difficult to explain things.
Oh, whew. I'm glad. :) I do appreciate your help! Thank you again! :)
Quote - Anyway, I'm glad you got it working.
Thanks! It had just occured to me after I posted that. I went to eat dinner, and not intentionally forgot to post that I had found out why LOL. Whoops. I'll keep in mind though your suggestion, it sure sounds a lot easier than what I went through before hehe.

Fivecat;
Yes, I know I've already asked over in the ZBrush forum, but I had already asked this in the Poser forum before I got your reply there. Thank you for your help with this both here and there. I apologize if I've offended you.
I figured out exactly what went wrong before. Appearantly when I had exported it as an OBJ file, it was still expecting that "Lash" group to be there and that is probably what prompted the "wrong number of verticles" error. So I've remedied the problem with after removing the magnet, spawning a morph target of it and then deleting the lash group and corresponding material to it. Now it works. But I'll be careful to note your suggestions for next time, as that's a much quicker way to do it appearantly. LOL.

Thread: Poser/ZBrush Question: Hiding the eyelashes? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Okay, I'm trying to follow Miss Nancy's instructions.
I've got the mesh imported into ZBrush, and I've created a morph for the eyes. When I apply it to the figure in Poser, I'm getting a wrong number of verticles error. :( Anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks for your reply and the link, Miss Nancy! I'll have to try that. :) It will be a big help for custom eyes.

Thanks Richardson for your reply and for your tips! I remember reading that at ZBrush Central not too long ago, but I was wondering if there was another way.
As for the eyelash length... I'm using Michael 4, and only have the base (I don't have the morphs) and am trying to create my own morphs. I don't see the eyelash length morph dial in there. Is that available with just the base or only with the morph package?

Actually this is a good time to subscribe there, since there is a half price sale on yearly and lifetime memberships at the moment.
It's seriously good value for money and you get new content every month, along with unlimited downloads on anything that's there already. (And there is lots)
Currently there are 10 pages (7 items per page) for M3, 3 pages for D3, but several of the items listed on the pages are collections and feature more than one item. (One has 10 items on the sub page, refitted for David) 2 Pages for Hiro, 3 pages for Apollo Max, 16 pages for M1&M2... There is a page full of tutorials as well, textures, poses, props, scenes... you name it.
He supports almost every figure -- and he's working on M4 stuff right now.
Not to mention, Steve Shanks tends to bend over backwards to help where he can.So yeah, I can thoroughly recommend joining.
And yes, Wardrobe Wizard is on PhilC's site. You can also get it over on Content Paradise.
Thanks again, Silke for your help! :) Sounds like they have a lot of neat stuff. I used to be a member there, but I think my membership needs to be renewed.
Ah, okay cool. Thanks again.

Thank you very much, Joe!
I have no doubt that his customer service is good, as he's replied to some of my posts and e-mails before and is always really helpful. :)
