Thread: How Can I Modify This Texture to Fix the Hair Coloring? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Can you help me understand how to use this information to make the hair colors look like they should? What's missing here is the correct base hair color. I've got the normals and the alpha figured out already.

@hborre: When I load the figure into Blender for pre-processing, I have to set material zones for every part, including the hair.
@shvrdavid: This sounds interesting. The game is a Unity game, not Unreal. Can you help me understand what you wrote about tangent maps? I've never heard of them, but if it helps me resolve this problem, that's more than a year of trying, finally done.

The character already comes with normal maps:
I also already know how to get the alpha/trans texture from the layers in the original texture file. What I don't have is the normal hair coloring. I'm trying to learn an efficient way to modify that original texture so that it aligns with the intended hair color.

That leads me to another problem I was having. Here is my render settings window:
I don't know what happened; I don't have all the controls I should have. Anybody know what's going on there?
This is Poser Pro 11, by the way.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Mine is a rigged model I exported from Blender. Some body parts show up, and some don't.

Contact Infinity10 here in the forums ... She has a solid understanding of importing FBX figures into Poser. She even as a video tutorial but I'm not at my work machine and don't have the link. I will ask her to answer this thread.
I sent her a message. Thanks!

Are your groups vertex groups or are they facet (polygon) groups? Poser needs facet groups, not vertex groups, to link geometry to the rig,
They're vertex groups. I work with them in Blender before exporting them as .FBX files. That's good to know; I wonder if Blender can make them facet groups.

@NikKelly, thanks for the suggestion. I tried exporting it from the source as a 6.1 version. It was still broken, though not as badly as before. It's weird; I have brought in over 150 models from the source, and only 4 or 5 are broken like this. Same process, same pipeline, different results.
Thread: Problem with M3 Full Body Morph | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm not sure about anybody else having the problem, but re-installing M3 and SR2, and then reinstalling the morph packs with their updates seemed to have fixed it for me.

Hm. I'm using M3 SR1 and I didn't realize there was a newer release for the morph packs. I'll try it when I get home.

You may also want to check out PhilC's Wardrobe Wizard 2.0 at www.philc.net. It enables you to convert clothing made from one character to another character, and the library of supported characters is immense. It's not for the light-of-wallet, but I consider it priceless.
