Why is it doing this and how can I fix it? I've tried turning up the trans on all three eyebrow material zones, applying trans maps...everything. What am I missing?

I think you are actually seeing into her head. The only one that has a trans map applied to it is the upper eyebrow. They eyebrow part is actually part of the head, like the lips. The eyebrow 2 material is just a left over.

I had the same problem too and I applied a different horrific color (hot pink, etc) to each of the eyebrow sections to see what was what. That helped me determine which eyebrows to put the trans on, along with guidance from some great people on the boards. :)

The eyebrows would be fine if you left the 'BrowsGone' dial alone...

Do not transmap the eyebrow, this is the skin beneath the hairs. By transmapping the upper eyebrows you will end up with a more realistic eyebrow, than if you were to simply tex map the eyebrow and not use the upper eyebrows at all.

Okay, perhaps I should explain myself a little better. This character has two separate "Eyebrows" material zones, and one "Upper Eyebrow" zone. The texture for the head already has eyebrows on the texture, so a separate material zone is unnecessary. How can I fix it?

If the texture has an eyebrow then transmapping is not needed. simply use the "browgone" morph or make the upper eyebrow disappear. The only part that will be transmapped in this case is the eyelashes. in regards to the image above, just restore the eyebrow (the settings for the eyebrow should match the face)

As I said .. the eyebrow is a serperate section of the head map. that should be the same color as the head. eyebrow 2 at the bottom of the list is nothing. It is a left over. The upper eyebrow is the only item that should have a transparancy applied.that map should be applied to the head like the lashes. Hope that clears it up.
