IÂ am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but VSS is not for hair. Plus, AOÂ on hair would take forever to render, and it would be hell in an animation.

I can't wait for it, but it seems I am in the minority. I LOVED the original series and have every epiosde and the miniseries on DVD. Not to mention that everyone who has seen the pilot has raved about it. Needless to say, MY tivo is set to record lol

You can install to another runtime, just check DAZStudio instead of poser when the installer asks what program you use. It installs the same files, but doesn't check for the poser exe.
Are you looking in Characters? You said DAZ People, but I think that's what studio calls characters?

There used to be a pose file out there that made hair visible even if changing the display settings on the hair doesn't work. It was VERY handy, but I suffered a Huge Crash and I lost it. Maybe someone here knows where it is?

Ok, I have it installed. I read the readme. I still crash when I refresh menus and my icons still need to be clicked on to get larger, which I hate. Am I missing something?

Totally true! As a very well inked woman, I find the un-realism of the tattoos very unappealing and would never buy many of the ones that come out. Saint-Fox does a beautiful job on them. Countess has made hers less bright recently. Most of the others though, I can live without.

I feel you. My Poser 8 crashes ALL the time. Doing anything, refreshing a library, applying a pose, looking at the screen cross eyed, KABOOM. And my pc is way more than adequate to run it. I hope they get it fixed soon, it's very frustrating :-)
