Thanks. I'm waiting for Daz Tech Support to reply on this issue.

Thread: Saving Revised Viewport Tools Keyboard Shortcuts | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Thanks, RHaseltine. As an experiment, I tred editing the actions.dsx file in a text editor. I removed all of the instances of "Alt+Shift+" in these lines:
So then, after editing, the above lines looked like this:
I saved actions.dsx like that, but after opening DS4 again, the keyboard shortcuts were not changed, and all of the instances of "Alt+Shift+" were put back into the actions.dsx file as if I had never deleted them.
So it seems as if simply re-opening DS4 recreates the default actions.dsx file. Any thoughts on that?
Thanks very much for your help.
Oh and I did try Window>Workspace>Save Layout after setting my shortcuts. Didn't work.

Thanks. Got it. Guess it's even easier to dolly in DS than in Poser. Very cool!
Thanks again!

You're right! It wouldn't exactly match with the V4 Helena dress. Would need new textures. Maybe somebody who does textures will some day do a Grecco Roman texture set for the M4 Slave Outfit. That would be great!Poser 2010 • Poser 8 • MacPro Desktop • Quad-Core Intel Xeon • 10 GB • Snow Leopard • Windows XP

Agreed, MistyLaraPrincess!
I'd like to create a scene with both V4 and M4 together using the Helena Dress. It seems like a natural. DAZ has an M4 toga that might complement the Helena Dress but I don't think it will work in Poser. Says "DS" only.
Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion, Acadia. I've tried Wardrobe Wizard a couple of times and didn't get very good results. It might just have been me though.
Thanks again!

estherau,
I believe that the new Shaderwork's Library Manager was updated because semidieu (Basil) added the new Runtimes Manager feature. Doubtful that Basil updated it for Lion. He has told me that he sees no reason for any of his scripts to break in Lion.
I'm not updating to Lion for a long time to come. Not because of the Poser GUI issue. Because there are incompatibilities with other software. I wish I could update now to Lion solely for the new versioning feature which sounds amazing!
Best of luck to you if you take the Lion plunge. Let us know how it goes.

You are right, estherau, Poser Pro 2010 is not specifically listed (yet) at roaringapps.com. Only Poser 8 is listed.
That website is a wiki so that just means that nobody running Lion has added Poser Pro 2010. Perhaps someone here in this thread would like to add Poser Pro 2010 at roaringapps.com?

estherau...I haven't installed Lion yet but I did email Basil (semidieu) and he said that there should be no problem with his python scripts in Lion.
I'm going to hold off upgrading to Lion due to some other software incompatibilities.
Here's the best place to go to check software compatibility and Lion...

Understood.
I was referring to the missing button icon issue reported by muromedia in the first post of this thread. That was with a pre-release version of Lion way back in March. Not sure if it got fixed in the release version though. Even if it didn't get fixed it's not a major issue, just an annoyance. That, in itself, wouldn't stop me from upgrading to Lion.
On another note, Basil from Shaderworks sent me an email saying that third party scripts should have no trouble working in Lion from what he understands.
Thank you,
dkal

After reading your post (above) about the missing icons I'm wondering if you know whether a fix will be coming soon for Poser in Lion.
Thanks,

You mentioned both Poser 7 and Poser 8 in your post. I'm a little confused. Have you tried Poser 8 in Lion yet? I'm still debating whether or when to update from Snow Leopard.
Thanks for the info.

Has anybody tested Poser 8 or 2010 under Lion and found that any of the third party scripts no longer work or have some kind of problems in Lion?
I'm particularly interested in finding out if RDNA's Shaderworks scripts still work in Lion. A couple of them are essential to my workflow and I'll have to stick with Snow Leopard if they no longer function correctly in Lion.
Thanks in advance,
dkal
