Right.
Thta's done. I did download again. All is fine now.
But I do not think I'm going to buy it.. too much dollars for my poor Brazilian REAL....
The Version 11 now with good affordable preice, as said here will be absolete in a about one year or so... like some others before..wont't work anymore in the future Microsoft Windows...
It's a pity for us - with the less power of purchasing aka inflation!
thanks for all the sugestions.

Right I was afraid of it...Poser 11 will not be usable in about one or 2 years....like the other Poser I brought, I thought it was Poser 10, but was from 2007.... guess is not Poser 10. The thing about it is that no use anymore wont instal in any Windows. Last was Wind 7.

I apologize for the inconvenience. I think something corrupted during the install. I suspect that is why you are getting all these weird issues. I would try and fully uninstall Poser Pro 2010 and delete preferences, etc....
I then would reboot, and run a Clean Reinstall in Diagnostics Mode using MSCONFIG.

Do you have the 64 Bit Version of Poser Pro 2010 installed?
Yes I do.
The fact you have it installed to the x86 Program Files Folder indicates you are using the 32 Bit Version.
I had no idea! Because I did choose the 'no 32 bits files' when I installed!
The 64 Bit should be in the Program Files Folder, under Smith Micro.
The program has choose the path. Not I.
Also, do you have IE 8 installed?
Yes, it's part of Win 7! I did not uninstall...is here but I don't use.
Only when I wanted to make updates manually to Win 7, I do need IE9.
What now?

Hi,
Browsers:I use Chrome, Firefox and Safari all updated every 15 days if there's any! So these are newly update. I don't use IE since Firefox arrived!
My Poser is on default C:Program Files (x86)Smith MicroPoser Pro 2010
My Runtimes additional are in external hard drive (WD Notebook)which is connected to desktop 24/7. I:3DLandProgram FilesPoser Pro
I can use a scene with 300 dpi,and Manual Firefly which will give me the best 'look' on the render I wish.
I also can use a default render and the same happens! When making an animation.
Look: squeker.jpg
That simple rat with 2 movements in 30 frames to be render in Flash did stopped the Poser as you can see in the image; again.jpg
The point is; Cloth room and Flash animation won't work as it should for fine program that is working on 64 bits!
Screen Shot of your Render Settings,Look: sett.jpg ( Now when I touch the 'options' button to change to better colors etc.. that happens, Look: again.jpg
Later it did render the animation but only at 4 colors because I did not touch the 'option' button.
I say, when the program stops, I 'm obliged to close it the Library stays on the screen without closing with the program! I have to close it alone by clicking into it and closing.
Screen Shot of your General Preferences Render Tab Settings and Screen Shot of your General Preferences Library Settings, Look: gprefe.jpg | gpreftab.jpg | gpref-tab.jpg |gpref-tab1.jpg | gpreftab-2.jpg
** Response (John Csaky) 05/03/2010 08:57 AM**
I apologize for the difficulties. This could be due to some settings. To better assist you, please provide some details on the Scene (Figures and Content Used), Screen Shot of your Render Settings, Screen Shot of your General Preferences Render Tab Settings, Screen Shot of your General Preferences Library Settings, along with the following additional details...
5.) Full path to your Poser Program Folder if other than default
6.) Full path to your Runtimes
7.) Internet Browser and version number (the library now uses browser functionality) If you use other than IE on Windows please include the Version Details for IE
Thanks

Hello,
I'm totally disappointed with your final product! The PoserPro is acting as a Beta! I'm having the 'freezing' issue as many I try something that is not in the 'main menu' (to say in the beginner normal user)
Example.
* making use of the Cloth Room....happens it takes forever and sometimes even stops all and I'm obliged to re-start the software.
* using the animation settings, I try to use FLASH as option instead of AVI and stops all and I'm obliged to re-start the software. Look the picture.
Annoying and very beta behavior!
I wonder what you're going to do about it?
I already lost many of my works because the software doesn't have a 'last minute' save.

I'll investigate about it.
So far I just got via normal mail a version of Poser Pro 2010 - had not yet time to work on it but few tries only and 76% of these tries were frustated by the library not functioning or when it did function the freeze situation took place.
Unfortunelly I need more time to post something here.
Note: I gave up about Poser 8.
Now I'm testing Poser Pro 2010.

tell you: only thing I have not try in your list (BTW. thank!)
- Have you tried deleting the preferences and uninstalling and reinstalling the program? If not, try doing that too. The preferences are located in [User folder]> AppData> Roaming> Poser. They are all contained within the 8.0 folder. Just make a copy of that folder, and then delete the original. (Use the copy to restore the settings in case resetting them doesnt work.)
I use to delete the TEMP in same location(almost same).
Never crashes when I rendering. It render or it render not. If I put too much heavy stuff in the render and go for the MAX of Max settings then won't do it! ODD!
Freezes when I delete anything from the scene like 80%.
Closing a doc. and opening other happens to crashes! About 50%
Won't like to import an object..that's odd. I'm obliged to import it from Poser Pro and save and then go with it as > import a pz3 then goes perfect.
Actually I'm going to live with that...untill a pacht shows up to fix it.
I'll not mess up with my new system, new OS and all newly installed because of <poser
That's a decision I did today..its getting too far.
Thanks for your help, and post here when you hear something has definitevelly fix all the bugs in P8. - for us using Win 7 64 bits.
thanks
