Sorry, I could not pick a 3rd place, as all the rest were too similar to choose from.

Quote - Are these programs rigged so you can only install on the that day? What if down the road you want to re-install? SOL?
This is not possible since the site merely gives the opportunity for people to test the software. The prize for doing so means that you get to keep using the software till you uninstall it. However, if that happens you cannot reinstall it.
To be honest, it's worth keeping an eye on this site as useful software does tend to pop up regularly.

Quote - If we had excellent materials for Bryce as we have for Vue, certainly the result in Bryce could be same or better.
Yeah, I used to think that too my friend, but it seems to me that every company that owns, or at least owns part of Bryce is just not interested in taking advantage of it's potential.

Quote - No fond memories of your time with bryce then dhama?
No, I do not. Just endless frustration that it didn't have the specifications to be what I needed it to be. I tried, just like many others, to believe that Bryce could be anything that the artist wanted it to be..... even if it meant cheating occasionally. However, i'm past that stage and now require an app with more substance. Vue isn't quite that in my opinion, but just as Bryce did in the early days; Vue will suffice till something better comes along.

Quote - It's just copying in the beta for right now, soon to be True Instancing. Not an eco-system, yet, not by really by a long shot. Not yet, anyway.
Anyone who is waiting for true ecosystems to be incorporated into Bryce will certainly be disappointed. Bryce will be what it's always been; just a novelty. If anyone wants... needs ecosystems; they should go learn Vue.
Thread: What did in Bryce 6.3 change? | Forum: Bryce
It changed one very important thing for me Thandaluz, the fact that I will never use the software again. It'll never be what I need it to be, so i'm now trying to get to grips with Vue. At least that is more up to date. And, if you are serious about this style of art my friend, you'll do yourself a favour and change too.
And yeah, bring out the chair TheBryster, since the software (Vue) is comfortable to use, I guess I could use a comfy chair to go with it.

Quote - Well out of respect for TheBryster I've held off on saying this but whew...finally Bryce is attempting to catch up at least with Terragen2 and Vue...way t go DAZ team is all I can say...can't wait to get the time to install and play a bit.. ...
Bryce still has a long way to catch up with the likes of Terragen2 and vue. Installed the beta, played for an hour, uninstalled it and decided to wait till something interesting happens with the beta.

Bryster, you may find on some webpages, usually those that have the latest scrips tend to give little problems, like some things not showing properly. I have the problem with Phoptobucket. The script that displays the direct links is usually under the thumbnail, but in IE8 it only appears if you click the thumbnail first which takes you to the full size pic, and then it displays the script correctly for the direct links.
If you do experience any problems with any web pages... usually forums, first try the 'compatibility view' in the 'tools' menu.

Where are you finding Bryce 6.2?
I question this also, surely it's Bryce 7 by now?
