More than a sad loss, a serious loss to those whose modeling interests includes the profession of arms.

Thread: Is Poser Dying? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It seems counter productive for DAZ3D to shun it's Poser customers. They could make twice what they do if the models they created were, as before, both DAZ and Poser compatible. This looks like a personal vendetta with the greedy capitalist venture vultures being taken for a ride.

Thread: Flash (KB3132372) / Poser 10 crash on start bug ::: information please | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
My Poser came up without any changes to Poser, after the IE issue had been dealt with. I called GeekSquad to debug the computer where they identified the IE bug as a Windows problem, not a Poser problem. I waited a week and then have logged in without difficulty, so I assume that IE was altered to solve the problem.

My PoserPro2014 is working fine after a fix was put in on Windows10 and there is another upgrade for Poser that automatically triggered.

Note from Smith Micro on this issue
Microsoft released a brand new update the other day, KB3132372, that massively reconfigures how Flash works, thereby breaking the Flash functionality in Poser, resulting in the program crashing on startup. The engineers are looking into this Microsoft update to see what can be done about it, but in the meanwhile you would need to uninstall the KB3132372 update if you wish to keep using Poser. If you wish to keep your system secure even without that update, then this Microsoft article talks about what you can do to achieve the same security without having KB3132372 installed. However, since this is an automatic Microsoft update, chances are it will automatically reinstall itself again in the near future.

Thread: Upgrading Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The logic of DAZ3D escapes me. They give away the software and sell the models at twice their price albeit good looking stuff. By separating the new DAZ figures from Poser, it gets down to a flat choice of Poser vs DAZ studio.
The hitch in the plan is that any artist can make product for Studio for which DAZ3D gets nothing.
Go figure

In the interest of saving one's sanity in using Poser, avoid any contact with Windows 10. It is impossible to tab through your directories.

I am too old for paradigm shifts that threaten the fifteen years of Poser on my Runtime.
