Ahh, thank you. I find it useful only for a small amount of time. When I'm rigging, and/or going through a complicated scene with alot of stuff, it gets annoying more so than anything else.

Thats quite the handy tool there.

It didn't say anything. I think what had happened was a bad line of code that prevented the 'save' button scripting from actually completing. Its fixed now with that update a few days back, but now I have a new question. Is it possible to splice in new geometry into an already rigged model? I don't want to have to re-rig everything... 80+ pieces = 9 or so hours of work.

Correction, 4.7 will not allow me to save ANYTHING new, except for pictures.

It fails when I get the option to type in what I wanted to save the new file name as. I write it in fine, but it just doesn't save when I click save. In fact, nothing happens.

Sorry, no really good shots of the underbelly just yet. (I still have some work to do on whats behind the lower doors.
For reference, the bottom gif shows all the things that are movable on the dorsal side of the ship's hull. From missile pods, to the docking ring and magnetic clamps aft of the bridge dome, to the turrets and main guns. Some additional features include: Basic weapon effects, from lasers and spotlights to muzzle flash geometry and bullets. All rigged. As you can see from the gif, each of the main engine nacelle nozzles are animatable, featuring multiple axis of manuverability for extra manuverability in combat.
I think I will have to have some people take this model for specialty rendors. My computer can't handle it in anything other than MAX.

3doutlaw, for your answers, yes it does. Two ramps actually. One in front for large land craft/cargo ALA Serenity, and a smaller troop hatch/ramp/airlock thing in the rear of the bottom deck for well, personnel. Also makes it handy for 'airdrops' for troops with jetpacks and such. And landing gear, forgot to mention that. It has six feet that drop straight down. (Didn't have the know-how to make them more articulated when I had made them.)
Donnena, thank you very much. That'll help alot.

Thread: Yet another question for DAZ users. | Forum: DAZ|Studio
My apologies then. I am trying to make a preset for use in DAZ studio go to along with my products. Poses for the prop upon loading, person poses for use with said prop, such as full body poses, torso poses, arm poses, etc. This is for others to use it, not just myself.

I believe you have misunderstood my question. Not hard, I don't really know how to phrase it. I'm looking to export the pose as a preset so I can export the rings as parented props, as well as usage poses for the hoverboard.
