ROFL , in certain areas of this wonderful world, it's known as the "Adult Industry", makes it easier to handle for their constipated little minds.
Apart from that, C6 will grey out that toolbar if I load a Poser CR2, the only way I can enable the toolbar is to load as PZ3 or OBJ.Â

Hmmm I remember the "jiggle the cam" problem from C5(Pro) under Win XP64, a new graphics board fixed that. Never had it under 32bit XP.

You've got to love MS and legal software. Few years ago I bought a PC, bought XP Pro, XP Pro installed and activated no problem at all, till I installed the MSN searchbar a while ago. That searchbar was not what I wanted and it didn't un-install the way it should, so I restored to point I made the day before, right after the reboot the "need activation" popped up.
To my surprise the activation was refused, so I called MS to activate over the phone, I started to explain what had happened and before I was halfway through I was interupted with a "you are not allowed to use an illegal copy of XP, we have recorded your phone number and the authorities will be notified" and the connection was broken.
It took months and pressure from my legal aid before that problem was resolved, like I said , you gotta love MS.

Try Acronis True Image, it does drives only (both full and incremental) but it compresses, at standard compression level it will compress my Data-HDD (20Gb Runtime + 20Gb ZIP files) to 23Gb. What I do like is that it allows you to mount the backup as virtual HDD so you are able to copy files&folders from it if needed.

Imho the main problem with Shade is that you need atleast 3 hands to use the very very keyboard oriented UI and that the "program/manual" uses non-standard names for standard actions and the same action may have a different name in the different explanations in the manual. Try a search in the manual for something as simple as "join" , when you want to connect 2 pieces of an object together, "connect" won't get you there either.
The whole "English" version of Shade reminds too much of the "japanenglish" user guides that appeared in the 60's with glorious highlights like "approach object A with the side of B and advance into adhering mode for complete success", which to the enlightened of us it really meant "glue A to B". :)
Thread: OT: Is this genuine Microsoft? Or is it malware (I'm paranoid).. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
"Software is not the problem, it is the stupid users!" It's actually the usual IT Dept's attitude that they are a step above God and that they don't have to explain to users why certain things are not to be done. Since 99.99% of all settings done by IT Dept's are for the convenience of the IT Dept instead of providing the users with a usuable workspace , very few users take the decrees as issued by the Lords of IT as anything but a pain in the proverbial.
