Thanks. I wish I'd seen this sooner - someone at the 3D Commune gave me: http://www.envision.freeserve.co.uk/ which is an excellent resource (and had something close enough to what I needed), but these look better... :-)

I wish I had modelling skills and programs - I'd love to make some steam-powered wooden mech's like those shown briefly in "Robot Carnival" and featured prominently in the game "Iron Men and Wooden Suits." If I get some other stuff taken care of, I'll see what I can do for this, but my hopes aren't too high right now!

I'd love to find some of that stuff myself... Closest I can think of is the Race Car Driver model Zygote has (had?) for sale... Though I thought there was a Rebel Pilot figure for download somewhere (it might not be poseable, and if it is, it might be one of the "Lost Models of Xanxost") - I think the uniforms Lucas used were modified racing suits, so these might work well, if they're still out there...

Wow! I didn't think anyone would be able to come close to that goofy helmet he wears (a friend of mine had a theory that he lost every fight not because he was the bad guy, but because he had such a stupid-looking costume - and then he goes and beats Spiderman while in his civvies, further supporting the point!).

Only the SECOND, Traveler? Haven't been prowling the forum long, have you? :-) I think we've been seeing some of Renderosity's best work here since this forum opened! (Too bad Willow's PFO doesn't have the storage space on the server to even consider something like this, and many of the people there are too "stick in the mud" to come over here; both sites are missing out on a LOT of great work and ideas as a result)
