Anyway, Poser 5 didn't agree with a lot of PCs when it was first released. You could try searching the forum to see if anyone has had similar problems.

No, I've not had the problem myself, I temporarily removed the file from my install to see if made any difference to rendering.
It should be in the /runtime/ui directory.

The only other thing I can suggest is installing the latest patch if you haven?t done so already, you can find it through the link at the top of the forum.

If that doesn?t work I?m out of ideas and you?ll have to wait for someone who knows more about it.

I tryed moving the 25000_parameter6.psd file out of my poser directory, started the program, loaded a prop and rendered. It came out fine so thats probably not it.
(I'm not sure what the file is for)

Are you getting completely black renders all the time or just with one figure?

Yes, if you hold down the Alt key and double click on the tools title it should switch between horizontal and vertical.

The quick answer is to look at the properties of the Magnet (not the base or zone) the button is labelled
"Add element to deform".

The link is to a report on Spam and the ways e-mail addresses are obtained by spammers. Their conclusion says that the most common way spammers get addresses is with address-harvesting programs which pick up any address shown on a website, and the best way to avoid them is to enter your address in a different format. e.g. "your.name at domain dot com" instead of "your.name@domain.com" This wouldn't stop someone who's aiming for your address, but it cuts down on random attacks.

Poser 5. 19" monitor at 1152 x 864 resolution. The document window is 700 x 525, I find it handy to keep a 4:3 ratio.

The colour tool is activated by pressing the windows key, for example WIN + E for explorer etc.

The easiest way to do it is to exit Poser and restart it. Just make sure you save your work first.
