Thread: Older Apophysis programs available at: | Forum: Fractals
Hi again:
I just heard from the admins. at ArtNutz and I have copied and pasted the following info for you to read:
Hi P. , it does show the letter went out . has this person tried to login ?? there should be no problem just have him come over and login
the addresses used was mlorenz4@bellsouth.net
now I believe bellsouth has a spam filter that could explain why he never received it. but it was sent and he is a member here so just let him know stop by and sign in. I wished he had of contacted us sooner gosh poor guy probably thinks we're ignoring him but we're not he is a member
Now if he trys to login and has forgotten his password then yes he needs to send an e-mail to ron via the admin e-mail contact us. So ron can make sure he does get in ok.
Thanks P. much appreciated and please let him know we're sorry he had this problem you can always give him my e-mail address I don't mine at all. to get ron use ron@artnutz.us
Anyway, I hope that this info will help you! Just like aol, your bellsouth may have spammed it or may not have allowed it to come through at all, you may need to check you spam filter, too. This is a great site, hope you haven't given up on them!!!
Good luck, looking forward to seeing you there!
P.

Sorry to hear about that! It's a great place to be. I know that every once in a while my aol will treat ArtNutz emails as spam, even though I keep telling it that ArtNutz is NOT spam. LOL I always read the spam addresses before I delete them cause aol will slip one into spam.
I will check and see if I can find out something for you, just tell me the user name you signed up with and I'll send them a pm with your user name and see what they have from their end. I have your user name from here but some people use different names at different sites.Either they will send you the info that you need or I will let you know what they said here!
Hope it gets worked out for you!!!
Thread: Love to have an older version of apo!!! | Forum: Fractals
I had a great response to my problem with rendering old pars in the new vers. of apo!!
Carolyn (classylady) spent a lot of time with this and came up with several different vers.
that worked perfectly, Petri and vikinglady also sent different vers. that also worked,Â
one-tough-one and several others gave me lots of help also with suggestions that I had not thought of. I want to take this time to thank everyone who responded. I would say that all in all the fractal community as a whole is a wonderful place to be!!!!
I know that others are having the same problems trying to render old pars, classylady is planning to post some of the older vers. (I think) in the freebie section at Artnutz.us for those of you who need them. She asked to give her and Ron a few day to get them posted and believe me it will be well worth the wait to see all those old pars come back to life. It was like looking at an old family album to see how much my work has changed and evolved over the past 2 or 3 years. It was really nice to see them again and knowing that all that hard work had not gone to waste!!!
Wishing the best for everyone in 2007!
Patti
This message will be posted in all other forums that I asked for help, I hope that I didn't
forget to thank everyone. I had such a huge response and I don't want to hurt someone's feelings by accidently leaving their name out!!!

Thanks for your reply! I have heard from many people who have the same problem, since yesterday so many people have tried helping me with some suprising results.
I have found out that apo 2.02 and several versions older than that have solved my problem! Thanks to several people and classylady,  I now have 4 older apos that are working just perfect and the old params never looked better. I was truly glad to see some of them come back to life!!!
Wishing you the best for 2007!!!
Thread: 'Borrowed' images: anyone know XWALL..? | Forum: Photography
Isn't that still a copyright violation, to use and post someone elses work without their permission? I sell my images and I don't want them posted all over the world in hundred of sites, I would rather choose the site where I wish to sell and display my images.
Thread: 'Borrowed' images: anyone know XWALL..? | Forum: Photography
I have been looking through Xwall and I bet that this "borrowed" image thing may be bigger than we think! There are several artists there that seem to have a super talent in just about every postable form of art. I noticed the same thing with gdmora's gallery, it seemed to be full of many different styles of images. I may be wrong, but I think that this site should be monitored very closely. It may be full of "borrowed" images!!!!

Super comment, Kort! I just read your comment on Xwall and I loved it and it left me with a big smile on my face. :)
Thanks a million.

I was just over there checking on things when I got the email that you had responded to the forum, I couldn't find any images listed for gdmora at all!!! I don't know if he pulled them off or if the site pulled them. Mean while I found some more images that belonged to someone else and I wrote them about it, I also checked to see if their images were still listed and those images are gone too! From time to time this may happen again, that is why I keep a copy of my comments that I post (like what I used today) and a copy that I send to site admins. filed in my documents folder, so when I need them all I have to do is copy & paste them and it does save a lot of rewriting time.

I can see why he stole your work, that image on the front page is wonderful! I'm ganna have to check out your work for myself! Don't worry I wont post it anywhere!!! LOL  I don't know why he chose the image of mine that he did???? It has to be one of the worse one's that I have posted, if he was going to steal one, why not get one that looked better than that one!!! LOL Did you copy and paste you comment in "notepad"? This way if you have to post it again, you can c&p it right out of the notepad and wont have to rewrite it all over. I do think that I will post my comment every day for that image whether he deletes the comments or not. This will keep it on the front page for all to see (EVERY DAY). ROFLMAO!!!!!

Well..... Mr gdmora is going to have a big suprise when he reads the front page. I posted my comment, so now he has 3 on the front page where everyone can see. Don't forget if he deletes the comment, to keep reposting, the worst that could happen is that we get banned from that site. This will prove that the site doesn't care what is posted there.

The other sites that these images are posted on, really don't appreciate having someone like that on their sites either. That's why it's important to send them an email too, so they will know what's going on right under their noses.

If anyone reads it before he can erase it, they will know that he can't be trusted and you know how fast something like that can spread through a site. Hopefully he will be soooo embarrassed, especially if people are persistant in posting that comment over and over, not to mention having several others posting the fact that he's doing this to many other artists illegally. Maybe he will learn a good lesson from this.

Many thanks to you for banning them and in such a timely fashion!!! You're actions in this matter is very much appreciated!!!
Hope you have a wonderful and safe Holiday season!

When I find 1 of my images illegally posted and there's a place to post a comment, I have a comment written up that I copy and paste in their comment section. It basically says that this image is being used by (name of poster) and he or she DOES NOT have my permission to use MY images in any shape form or fashion and is violating the International Copyright Law and is subject to legal actions for each and ever image illegally posted on this site and any other sites. I am requesting the removal of my work and the site admins. will be notified of this violation and will also be liable if image is not removed. And if the poster has the ability to erase comments, I go back and copy and paste the message again and again, meanwhile I send site admin. an email siting such violations. This usually does the job!!! I also provide info to them about having the original paraments, date of rendering & posting on my own personal site. Plus I furnish links to where the original image is posted and a link to where it is illegally posted, so they don't have a difficult time locating the images. Like I said when faced with the proof, they usually comply with my request.
