Subject: Renders turning out to dark with new apo Z

CoolBreezeLady ( ) posted Sat, 01 October 2005 at 7:32 PM · edited Wed, 13 November 2024 at 1:18 PM

I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with their renders coming out almost totally black using the new apo Z. I will have the colors the way I want them and then start rendering and once finished the image is almost black. I then tried to brighten, adjust the gamma and the vibrancy, then render and it still doesn't look any better. Anyone got suggestions on how to fix this ????? Many thanks, Patti

My work is not nearly the quality yours is, but I had in the beginning problems like that. It was way dark. Try deleting the program and re-download it in a new folder or overwrite the old program with a new download. I don't know if that will help but it might. Mine are no longer dark like that but today the z expired and I had to download the newer version. If you need help let me know... be glad to assist. Christine.

Thanks for the info, it is the new apo2.02 Z that I downloaded today. I will try to redownload the program just like you said to do! I have used all of the other older apos and never had that to happen with them. I had no idea what was wrong. I hope your suggestion works. I really like some of the new functions on it. As for your work, I love what you do and I hate what I do. I feel like a big looser, cause I still can't get anywhere with UF and XD. Thankd for the compliment and the advice. Patti

LOL!! I wouldn't even know where to start on UF or XD! They are beyond my thinking at this point! I'll be online for awhile if you need anything :) Christine.
