It's an excellent book. Without it, the broken leg on my computer table would cause my entire setup to wobble uncontrollably. It's exactly the right height, and the cover slides easily over the carpet.

This sounds like Deja Vu. This happened to ne in exactly the same way last week, and I'm sorry WarriorDL or anyone else had to repeat my experiences. I'd find out who they are and where their site is located, etc. The M.O. sounds exactly like that of the user who ripped me off.

Opening the pp2 of curunir's file "examination table" yields the following code:
version
{
number 4.2
}
prop _themachine
{
geomCustom
My original item is provided as a posable prop. or CR2. Curunir simply converted this to a prop (PP2), changed two parts and some textures (one of which was also stolen from me, and posted this in freestuff,
Bantha, I hope that what I've posted answers your questions satifactorily. As far as to why curinir did this, I really could care less. I object to having my work stolen and then re-introduced as having been made by someone else. I am sincerely sorry that my actions seem to have upset you.
I consider this matter closed.

My thanks to Hawkfyr and to everyone else who helped out and reacted so quickly.... that's what I was referring to in the post 6. I spoke with the head of his hosting company last night. Except for the index page, all files have been removed from Curunir's site. He's been banned from Thralldom.Org as well.

Hauksdottir, no problem. Bantha, I contacted him, some of my friends contacted him, and the admin of this site contacted him. No reply was made, and as far as I know he never replied to the admin here. You are correct in stating that I should have given him time to respond, and I did. There's no way you could have known that. And there's still been no apology, and it's been 24 hours. Late last night I spoke to the head of his hosting service and faxed information over to him. This morning it appears that all content of Curunir's site was gone save for the index page. ///but stealing something we created is stealing part of ourselves//// aptly and eloquently stated, indeed. Thank you, HD.

I have a post going in the Poser forum with the same title as this thread, and which includes images of Curunir's "work". It seems I'm not the only artist whose work this user is claiming as his own. I also appreciate the fact that we can all stick together at times like these; I think that's really what makes a community.

I appreciate the responses. Could I ask anyone recognizing stuff to contact the respective artist directly? Oh, the issue here is not whether or not people have made the same TYPES of props... the issue here is that props, or pieces therof, have been re-cycled into new ones. These items are on his site, and I have contacted the owner of the host he's using. TammyC is also aware of this and has been completely responsive, and is currently dealing with this. My contention is that since he's ripped off a few of my products and offered them for free as his own, then I assume he would have done the same to other artists, hence my first post. You know, I hate that this happens. I hate that people can't just do their own work and have to steal, especially from within such a small community. Anyway, if anyone recognizes any of these props or pieces of them as being theirs, please holler.

No, it's not. I got an IM from Questor asking which file I was referring to so he could delete it. (Thank you, Questor!) Also, between now and the time I started this thread I found yet another prop this user had stolen and made into one of his own; this is in freestuff and is called "mask", and the file is titled "mask.zip". The user is curunir. The file that was deleted today was "examination table". Curunir has so far declined to respond to emails requesting that he delete these items from his site.

By "Adult SIte" I mean that it contains Poser products for Adults, and is not a "porn site." Just wanted to clear that up.
