Quote - The shoulders don't look right to me, the underarms look too high, is that normal to anyone else? Kind of like when Dina first came out, before they fixed them.
They don't look right to me either. :)
It is normal for Poser. They have a Jcm applied to them.
That jcm cannot be too extreme to fix it perfectly because of multiple angles of bend.

Hey, my pleasure. - now yours.
I hope you find lots of use for her.
She works well with others. :)
Thanks milanautica!!

It's really not all too high of a mesh in the hands. You are right though, it could have been probably obtomized better around the bend areas. Up close though, it doesn't seem all that high and it does hold a texture well.
115k polys is still very moderate for Poser, it doesn't effect load time at all
I've seen some figures load up that are 4x that resolution and still load fast.
and I've got a pretty old and slow machine.
I've been working in a cave for months. I had no idea you guys were working on figure(s) too.
I put together about a dozen varied figures this year, but none of them receive the kind of dogma that comes with the human female. Eva probably took about 9 months time (gestation?) but that was a very hard, condensed, 9 let me tell ya. I'm sure it could have been worked on for 9 more but there comes a time when you just have to say "done" ya know?

ROFL! You're too much! Thanks Deb.
I wish I did have access to a scanner like MikeJ mentioned. From what I understand about the 3D scanners is they can scan a perfect replica of something but the mesh is a scrambled mess of spiderweb triangles. Even in the big movie effect houses they have to rebuild what they scan.

Surely! I'd be glad to answer questions.
That face started to look a lot like Rhona Mitra as I was working with the original sculpt. I kept going with that look. 3D can be a funny thing is these programs we use. Rotate it one way and it looks beautiful, light it another and change the perspective and it looks horrible.
I tried very hard to pick model photographs to model against. You should have seen how big her hands were before, and this was modelled directly off a picture of a super hottie. So all that went out the window. I ended up just doing what seemed to look aesthetically pleasing. And I guess the conclusion was, she's going to look like a comic book figure.
So much can change with a texture. So much can change with a minor bit of morphing. I think just about any taste could be achieved with Eva but there was no way to please everyone from the get go.

I guess you are right. And it's the only way to do it.
Thanks for the animtion Tashar59. For the 11 group feet to switch to a 2 group foot, Would there have to be tiny invisible fragmets representing the 9 missing groups?

Right, I have the feet all set, they are heirarchied and stuff. Making another cr2 original figure would be just so easy if I had thought of it before. Unfortunately, I've sold over 100 of these original figures with the hooves.
If it were only possible to add the new and subtract the old with a new double footed cr2. Just click the feet and load some parented feet, oh that'd be nice.
Thanks for all your help!!!

So the dial would have to go into the Original figure? Or can this be added after the fact?.
Thread: Easier Morphing? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks man. The Daz Morph Designer doesn't work, doesn't import object. I was trying to bypass the multiple morphing per part process from an object morphed in Zbrush 2.
I am morphing Apollo Max. I have a separate pelvic morph apart from my FBM that I wish to add to it.
Basically I'm making a second skin clothes on top of the nude texture I've done for him. With one click I am going to hide genital 2-5, add the clothes texture for the whole body, and he'll have a matching morph for those clothes.
**I was just trying to simplify the process of importing the object, grouping it, then exporting each part, then importing each part for the morph target.
**I could have had it long since done by now but I'm trying to simplify this process for the future.
Zbrush 2
Poser 6

Thanks for the plug-in Python script, the program I just purchased doesn't import the object file. Grrrr.
I keep getting this error with the morphfromobjp6 python script
**poser.error: Figure has no actor by that nam
I get the object in there but it's really not saving any time at this point since it's just stacked objects on top of my figure.**

It looks like Daz's Morph Designer might do the trick.

from start to finish. Even creates an Inj.
Import figure then import object and it seems like that is all.

STEVE!! I could Kiss you!!
Do you know how much grief you saved me?
I got it! It works perfectly. I made his mouth open. I'd send a screen shot of this ogre but I only partially got his face textured and my test was done while his mouth was Poser defaulted to Magenta.
I just stretched open his bottom jaw in Cinema and took him through zbrush to smooth out those nasty stretched polys and he's perfectly opening his mouth, it's just closing it now that looks bad. ;-)) I modeled him with his mouth slightly agape so I'm probably going to have to make a separate close mouth morph and forcelimits on the dials the other ways so they don't crunch his face.
Thanks so MUCH!!

This thread should move to the Cinema forum. ;-)
I'm not sure how to get that triangle tag in there. ;-) I noticed you have different colors applied to one geometry. I need to learn that little trick. I'm trying to connect the inner mouth to the top and bottom jaw and have it be another material so I can at least select "material" in the texture mapper. When I connect something like teeth to an upper head or something it only allows one material. ;-(
I did export my object so far from Cinema all reversed, meaning all the needles when selected are facing inward since poser always reverses them.
Also, for naming, When I had tail01, tail02, tail03, etc, it would save completely messed up, tail03 may become tail1, and it always removed 0s but still didn't have any logic to it's order. So now I have been saving out tailA, tailB, tailC, and opening wordpad to correct replacing each letter with the correct #. The letters in the name actually kept the correct part association too. . .shrugs.
