Thread: Using Daz Content In Poser? | Forum: Community Center
It can be confusing installing content at first, you need to get to know the runtime structure and then it soon becomes second nature as to which files to put where and which can be moved to make products easy to find.
I don't think you can say which software is better, it is a bit horses for courses. Some people find Daz Studio a breeze and some the same for Poser. It just takes time to learn your way around whichever software you choose and ask if your stuck. Plenty of help around on the forums if you need it.
I use Daz Studio myself, but lots of poser scenes and prop content. Just takes tweaking of the surfaces and they work fine. I would imagine it works the same in reverse. Persevere it just takes a bit of time.

Thread: questions about poses V4 to Genesis or Genesis 2 | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Hi jonofthedead,
I don't know of any converter for V4 poses to Genesis 1 and 2 but I do use V4 full body poses on Genesis and then use DavidGB's Script which fixes various problems.
Here is the link to the thread on Daz's old forums where it is discussed:

Thread: New DS4A user... | Forum: DAZ|Studio
I think it may be zigraphix puttingย the documentation together. Try a search at Daz Forum for their username. I am unable to post links using this browser, sorry I can't be of more help. Good luck!
Thread: Complete newbie | Forum: DAZ|Studio
The problem with tutorials is they are written by people who already know the program and have their interface set up how they find it easiest to work with. You can change the layout of the interface in many ways which makes the tutorials very hard to follow and find the tools you need if you are just starting out with the program.
If you take a look in Daz Studio, on the top row you will see "View" click on it. Click on "Interface layout" and then "Select Layout". The box that appears will allow you to change the layout of the interface and hopefuly find the layout used in the tutorial which will make things much easier.
It can be very daunting at first but don't panic things will soon fall into place, it is amazing what you can learn by just playing with the program.
