I had similar troubles last week and fired off a frustrated note. A few days later Jarom Scow sent me a note apologizing and suggesting alternate routes etc. It took me a little over 4 hours to get (download) my 3 items. Perhaps it is the subcontractor or their e-commerce software that is the villain? (In my opinion) Their site poorly reflects the excellent products they have. And it performs poorly too. It is always slugish and quirky. Not exactly an "emmy" in the web-site category. Curious needs to pay more attention to this type stuff since it pays their bills. Wassup?

In summary: 1.Lower the resolution (I assume Jeff means at the render options box altho I didn't check) 2.Try "RAM booster." 3.Keep more than 500mb free More than 10gigs is free on my C drive. 4.Use Window "properties" to switch wap drives (OG question) 5.Fly the unused texture. I do that already. 6.Check and delete .tmp files 7.Use Maxmem. Got "Memmax" which is not that useful, I'll try the other. 8. I guess reducing the size of the map might also help? Mahalo all ... john

Warrior, I put the businessman and Michael together per your instructions. Slick. Love that Java utility, Compose. It worked fine but problems with the neck of the businessman's shirt. It is somewhat shredded and I can't seem to fix it. Strangely, if you import (I used the same cr2 you provided with Bobby, just edited the reference line) the file as comp.obj (prop)then the neck problems seem not noticeable. Of cousrse as a prop it lacks versatility. advice? john

Mahalo for the reply ... I did use the textures as it said in the readme. The settings needed tweaking (transparency min/max) before it would see the eye textures. It also didn't see the eyebrows and eyelashes from the textures without some adjustment. Also, the settings at render/materials act weird and I have had to resort to saving excessively. Out of the box it didn't work but it was a learning experience and as I have communicated elsewhere, what I really need is the businessman with Michael's head. Thanks for your comments. I'll look at the meshes with UVmapper.

Yes, It was not saving it correctly when I resaved it, I guess to a to a Cr file as you suggest. Now it works with the multiple figure pz3s, asking me nicely if I want to save just the figure feature or the whole bunch. The thing that throws me off is that it was working properly I thought at one point, but somehow got corrupted. John

Mahalo for your good advice..I did ininstall and reinstall and it worked ok, the patch says it works...also I had put Poser in a directory (aaaaaposer) right at the top of the tree so I could acess it easy with expolrer..the autodownled feature of some of the models didn't like this and i had to do manual installs.. now I've got it in programsmetastreamposer4 where it wants to be...no use fighting city hall..thanks again... john

I went to Curious and tried to get the update to work, but when I run it it says that it can't find the old file so it won't do the update for me. Should I uninstall and reinstall or what? I did a install over the top of the old one, but it didn't work either. The combined figure function did work for me at but has subsequently been corrupted I think.
