The content that comes with Daz Studio installs and is still there. The content I brought and installed disappered. Now I cannot reinstall the content I brought. And the whole folder system is out of whack as you can see.

For example if your dimensions of the backgrounds were created as 2500 x 2500 pixels and you try and create at say 700 x 600 you will always get distortions. Unequal dimensions will always cause distortion when the background is of equal dimensions.

You can resize the dimensions without distortion so long as the dimensions are equal. If you go to the top menu Render/Render Settings under "General" from the box that pops up in "Dimensions" click the small arrows in "Presets" this will give you a whole list of options. There are 2 ways we can do it here if we select "Square (1.1)" this will give you equal dimensions of your first dimension as in your active view port, but what we will be looking at here if you select the "Custom" preset and type in your "Pixel Dimensions" which ever size you prefer, making sure they are equal with "Contrain Proprtions"checked. When you click accept and take a look back in the render setting you will notice it has changed to "Square (1.1)"  with your chosen dimensions still intact "Aspect Ratio" being 1.1 with "Constrain Proportions checked.

When it comes to judging our own work.....
Are we not our own worst critic?

I must admit, I myself have only ever uploaded 1 piece of artwork WIP to this site, and the comments were appreciated. If my work was to recieve a bad review then I would not take this to heart as I would see it as a learning tool for future work.

I know some people do post comments just to be nasty but why do others pay attention to these people  thus encouraging them more.  I find  personally these type of people usually have a great chip on their shoulders. Attention encourages these people.....So why cannot one ignore their stupidity and concentrate on those comments that can be productive to ones artwork whether good or bad it all helps.
Why say something is fantastic just to try and save the feelings of another when you know you can see mistakes or room for improvement. Would it not be best to bring these to the attention of the learning artist in a nice way so one could learn from those more experienced.

I uploaded the WIP so that I may get help thorugh other people's opinions. I could see that I had room for improvement for it, but some times when it comes to our own work we cannot see the forest for the tress so to speak. It always helps when people view your work through their eyes and comment as to what they see.

A few friends of mine as well as myself were saddened when creepyclown.com was taken off the internet. Why it was taken off the internet is unknown to me.
I only knew that it would not have been Don's wish to stop sharing with others, this is why I asked permission from his widow to host them. I have permission/licence to offer these for download on my site so that people can continue to share and enjoy.

I did manage to contact Mrs. Tatro and have had a reply to my email.
I explained what I wanted to do.

Mrs. Tatro has given me written permission to do a memorial/tribute to Don and a licence to distribute his copyrighted works.

Is there someone here at Renderosity that I have to email a copy of this as proof of permission/licence. I do not think it would be safe to upload this email and have it displayed on the internet.

I do not wish or intend on trying to profit  from Don's works in any way. I just want to keep his works available so others may see what a talented and generous man he was.
I am very copyright conscious and highly respect the hard work of other artists.

I am in the process of updating my website pages and uploading my own creations to share.
No adult material will ever be uploaded and displayed to my website, I wish it to be a place that all will feel comfortable visiting.
