Here's the thing... It IS Renderosity's responsibility to monitor 'Free Stuff'. All this 'We don't host it, we can't be responsible." is a load of bollocks. Does the term "facilitation to theft " mean anything? I'm not saying it's the intent, but it's the result none the lest. This cavalier attitude about it simply shan't suffice. And don't start in on the 'Oh but lordy, it would take too much money'. Doesn't cut it. Ya see, 'Free Stuff' makes money for Renderosity. It's a service that they offer. A service that attracts visitors and encourages members whom are then exposed to their marketplace and their software sponsors etc... It's all about 'bums in the seats' (to borrow a stage exporession). Don't wanna come off overly harsh, but get your shit together. If you're incapable of maintaining this service in a legit manner, then mayhaps you should not have it.

I don't think there's anything devious going on, ScottA. I think that Daz are simply protecting themselves. There has been much specualtion and hypothetical suppositions in these here forums as of late as to the finacial stautus of Curious Labs. A lot of "what if they went tits-up and I needed to re-authorize my copy of Poser" kinda talk. Well supposing they fall down and go boom... Where would that leave Daz? Their whole company is based on a single product, Poser. What if there was no more Poser? I think it's just plain smart business.

Um... I would suggest posting in your own language and not using the online translators. Maybe someone may be able to understand your language (german?) and help you out. online translator gibberish to follow: Ich wde die Eintragung in Ihrer eigenen Sprache und das Verwenden nicht der Onlineersetzer vorschlagen. Mlicherweise kann jemand knen, Ihre Sprache (Deutschen?) zu verstehen und helfen Sie Ihnen heraus.
Thread: PoserBooost needs Poser registry entries on different WinOS | Forum: Poser Technical
I'm running XP pro. I just did a quick check for you and no... my poser.exe is not registered in that exact location. I did a serch for it and it did turn up my Poser.exe key, so i know it's registered with windows, but it did not give me the registry path. Do you need beta testers?

Positive... I tried. Oh how I tried ! :) The animate feature in pro pack just allows yout to change the texture map at each key frame. This may work as you've suggested, but an animated gif won't.

Thread: How can I create "deep cut" morphs? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Morphs are done by manipulation of the 3d mesh. If there is enough mesh to work with , in the area, deep cuts could be done. The only problem being that in order to create an indentation, the surrounding mesh has to be drawn closer to the indent. ... Center goes down, sides come in. This may cause problems with distorting your textures or even the mesh itself. A better idea would be a texture & bump map combination. You can easitly create raised or depressed areas with varying degree of severity by means of a Black & White bump map. White is raised black is unafected, and there's a a whole gray area in between. (of course Poser lets you invert the bump at runtime by means of a % slider in the Render Materials dialog box)
Thread: poser figure against a transparent background?? | Forum: Poser Technical
If you export as a PNG it's just the figure(s) and trans background. This may only work with ProPack... not sure .
