Ha. Well, after lots of fiddling and experimenting, I finally got it to work with copying the morphs from V4. So, consider this solved. I'll look for a tutoral later for fixing the joint work if I have to use the wardrobe wizard for a figure like that again.Â
Â
Anyway, whew.Â

Guess it's time to learn how to do some new (to me) things. Are there any decent tutorials for fixing te joint work?Â
The CC morphs on GND4 aren't the problem, it's transfering the GND4 morph to the legs where the problem is coming in. Â

I've had minor success using the wardrobe wizard. Unfortunately, the mesh warps when the knees are bent (as in kneeling). I've tried different settings and had the most success converting it like shoes.
Is there an easier way to transfer the morphs onto the figure? I tried using Poser Pro 2014's built in "transfer morphs" bit, but I can't get the GND4 morph to transfer. The one time I did, it didn't change anything on the figure when applied. sighs

Thread: "Boob Shaped Amor Would Kill You" | Forum: 3D Modeling
Yeah 'boob plate', I laughed too. And I know. Most of what gets modeled is sexy (no slut shaming here, but sometimes I don't want 'sexy'). I have, I believe, seen some practical armor for women that isn't like that but I would love to see (and would totally buy) something based on that armor Cate Blanchett wore in Elizabeth the Golden Age (pictured in the article).Â

Quote - Never heard of Firefly/Serenity, so there ya go. :)
Would have thought Evangeline would be too old to call a "girl" by now, but definitely pretty.
gasps Never heard of Firefly/Serenity? It's interesting, if you're into sci-fi at all. You should check it out. It was created by Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire fame.
"Girl" is an ingrained habit of mine. A woman who looks youngish is still a 'girl' to me until she starts looking 'old' which, to me, means wrinkles and gray hair :P
Okay, sorry! End of thread hijack.

Quote - Kinda surprised you've never heard of Ali Larter. She's been a hot button for a while.
Summer Glau is perhaps best known from The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I haven't knowingly seen Evangeline Lilly for a long time... used to be in a TV series or two way back, but I haven't tracked what she's done lately. IÂ don't know the other two... truthfully, I watch very little TV other than tennis anymore. But the IMDB site is always a good resource.
Summer Glau is actually probably better known for Firefly/Serenity than The Sarah Connor Chronicles (though I loved her in that too). Evengeline Lilly was on Lost wasn't she? That's what made her so popular anyway, I thought. Pretty girl, regardless.

Thread: V4 Head & Body Morphs Not all working. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - Â Uhm.. I said to check the file extension all the way up in the third post. Poser 8 just doesn't like capitalized extensions, be it in poses, mats, textures...
It IS being fixed in SR1 from what BagginsBill has hinted, but until then, best option is to rename them.
Doh! You see, this is what IÂ get for reading without caffeine. Forgive me?
edit:Â Typos, still no caffeine :(
Thread: V4 Head & Body Morphs Not all working. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It doesn't look like anybody answered this one. IÂ found the answer in another thread (thanks Netherworks for posting the answer there), actually, because I was having the EXACT same problem.
The extension for the pose files is .pz2. Poser 8 does not like it when that extension is instead .PZ2. If you manually rename the file to be .pz2 instead, it should work. IÂ just did this with the lovely Circe character that I could not get the morphs to load on and the morphs load just fine for me now. Hopefully the Smith Micro people are aware of this (I am going to report it there just in case it hasn't been reported already).
This is the thread, by the way, that contained the fix: www.renderosity.com/mod/forumpro/showthread.php

Cujo was a rabid dog though, not a werewolf, LOL... I was scared of St. Bernards for years after watching that movie!
Thread: Commercial or not commercial?? | Forum: Freestuff
IÂ think the commercial/non-commercial categories need to be reworked. Like others, IÂ tend to avoid freebies marked as non-commercial use because I sell my artwork. That way you can specify that commercial renders are okay but other commercial uses are not (such as resale/including in a collection/etc.). It'll make it easier for those of us who do use freebies from time to time to know at a glance instead of seeing 'non-commercial use only' and moving on. Even it it's stated in the details that commercial renders are okay, most of us wouldn't know it.
You have some good freebies, Lully. I'm glad I can go back and download some of the latest ones for my commercial renders :)

Thanks for the links and advice hon! Of course, if I could draw, this would be less of an issue. Maybe I'll hit up some friends who can draw and see if we can conceptualize what I need together. I do know a tattoo artist but he's so hard to get in touch with most of the time.... Hmm. Well, at least I'm not in a huge hurry to get this done. LOL
Thread: Royalty Free Tattoo Flash | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I found a couple sites where you can pay for the flash art (not terribly expensive), I just need to dig deeper for a terms of use and see if I can use them on a texture for a piece of artwork (not going to be selling the texture since I'm modifying one for personal use). I'm also looking at a couple stock art sites. Those don't tend to be very expensive either. I know for a fact if I get it from the stock art site, I'll be able to use it for my purposes. It's just difficult finding what I need. The more resources I have to search through the better.
