I think I will delete and rerinstall Poser. Something must be wrong in the way it installed last time.

Thanks. I tried all of the suggestions but no result. Body parts still don't move. any more ideas?.

I can move the figures parts by using the dials
I can move the entire figure in different dirctions.with the mouse

What I can't do is move body parts with the mouse..

PS: didn't you get Poser 97 yet or is it just for preferred customers?????  :)

Instructions that tell you to do something without telling you how. Merchants seem to think that everybody is a computer expert or even an expert on their own products. Like an automobile manual,to replace the alternator. Step one was "remove the transmission" Just as, not everybody knows how to remove the transmission. Not everybody knows how to expand files to the correct place or do many other "simple" procedures. Tell us step-by-step and don't leave out any because "everybody knows that"

I recently bought some figures from content hell, which were supposed to expand into place and all they did was half complete the job and then go to a sign saying complete installation manually. Naturally, they didn't give a clue as to how. I guess it's simple, but anything is complicated, if you don't know. I am coming to hate the word "simple"

Vicki 3, puts characteristics which have nothing to do with posing into the poses file. I have yet to figure out how to put an expression on her face. The dials don't do anything.

Inverse Kinematics should be off by default. I'm tired of characters with their foot in their left ear.

After several bug fixes P5 runs well. You might try it now. As to CL not answering their email I have sent them seven emails in the last three weeks most including the serial number (which is on the P5 disk as you guessed) and asking to purchase P6 as an early responder for P5. No answers yet. Katherine if you see this, read your customer service email. PLEASE

Did I miss something? How do you turn off IK so that it is off by default for all figures unless you turn it on for a particular figure? Or perhaps off for posing and on for the animation process.

A nice modeling job of a pistol. Very well done. It shows how something can seem advanced and super modern when it has been forgotten.

This a "broom handle" Mauser (circa 1895) German 9mm semi-automatic pistol with a modern telescope mounted on it. Far from being a future blaster, its a relic of the Boer War and WWI.
You can make it more exotic looking by adding the rifle stock and the 32 shot drum magazine which can be attached to convert it into a short rifle.

Another vote for Dragon Naturally Speaking. It is not perfect but compared to one finger typing its great. You do need to correct errors but it improves and works faster than I can type. (I'm slow) pronounce each word clearly with a slight pause between words and it works better. Best wishes on your surgery.

according to Curious labs poser5 manual you can legally put it on both machines as long as only one person uses poser5 at a time. Use it like a book.
