I also tried setting the SkinHead material and Eyebrows material the same. I'm using a transmap that came with the skin, and I don't have a "BrowsGone" dial. This is very saddening =(

Okay, here's what happens when I have... eyebrows: object color: white trans min: 0 trans max: 0 trans fallout: 0 no trans map, just texture map upper eyebrows: trans min: 100 trans max: 100 trans fallout: 0 no texture map, just trans map Could it be that I am just a defective render-er? ::cries::

Okay. Did everything. Eyelashes work now, although I don't like the trans map, so I'll find a different one. But it does work, and that's what matters. The eyebrows still don't work though. =/ Ron, I don't know if you have a different version of Poser than I do, or if I'm doing something wrong and totally missing it... But it's just not working. ::cries:: This is the first time I've had this problem. Admittedly, I've only worked with one other texture, but with the other texture, I had no problems with getting everything to work just fine without any transparency or anything. Could it be a problem with this texture, or a problem with me? ;D The other texture I got to work with it, although really an awesome texture, just isn't the sort of texture you use for lots of things. (It was Death, from free stuff, if you're wondering. Excellent texture, just not good for making a really happy, healthy person. ;D)

Wow, thank you everyone for all the replies. I think the problem may be that I don't have a transparency map. I'll head out looking for one of those. Actually, the Ron Knights tutorial is the one that gave me the white smears. =/ I tried using that one and duplicating the settings exactly, but it didn't work.

You can see what I mean about the eyebrows and eyelashes. Painful, neh? However, I'm looking at a different render I did with yet another free texture where everything worked just fine. Curious, curious... Could anyone maybe suggest a free texture to me that they think will work ;D and that's very versatile? I can't afford to pay for textures, so I'm looking for a nice base texture that's pretty simple and that the creator doesn't mind me modifying for my own uses. Anyone got any suggestions? Suggestions on either fixing my render or finding another texture are always welcome ;D
