Fantastic, has real charisma this; it's one of the best bits of 'toon airpane design I have ever seen. I have to agree that the texturing is outstanding too.

The thing is this seems to me to only have one gate anyway, those other entrances are, unless I am seeing it wrongly, internal doors to the defensive towers, they don't go all the way through the wall. Anyway as a fantasy fortress it looks good, original and reasonable polygon count, and if it will be going free I'll want it that's for sure.

Fabulous, not traditional and so not like anything I have seen which is just what you want from a fantasy fortress. I would leave the over-wide tops of those towers as they are, or at least don't narrow them down too much or they will lose their unique character. I would though, have only one entrance or at most two, a fortress should be credible and unless it's a whole fortified city it would be very unlikely to have more than one gate. Look forward to the finished item.

The outer surface of the eye is a specular glass material, so if any lights catch the eye they will reflect a highlight. With her head at that angle and the sun where it is there just aren't any highlights. If I boost the reflectivity slightly they may pick up the blue of the sky or something, so I'll try that and see if it looks right.
I can see her eyes anyway, but maybe they need a boost.
I'll be working on this again tonight and tomorrow, so if I don't post later tonight then expect something tomorrow evening, UK time.
Thread: WIP: Now I have to think of a setting. | Forum: Bryce
If there is a Mac version I can use it, if not then we'll have to wait and see what DAZ say. I actually think there will be no problem persuading DAZ to let legitimate purchasers have the new CR2 from their web site, and since it will contain reworked joint parameters as well as morphs I don't imagine it will be as tricky to use as the version had to produce this image.
Mover sounds useful so I'll get out and look for a Mac version.

Fantastic. The wing roundels actually look a little too large, but I haven't seen the markings of every Spitfire squadron ever, so if you're using good reference material and it looks right from there, ignore that. I will want this model when it is available.I'd suggest going to my web site and downloading the Bryce Gyrocopter free item (URL attached). It's a sci-fi model but has convincing blurred rotor blades and ducted fans, and you can pull it apart to see how to do the same on models like this one. Saves post work to get blurred blades.
Thread: Can I render a pic 21x52" @ 300dpi | Forum: Bryce
I regularly render images 3000x2000 and 3200x2400 or 2300x1800 and I don't know of any particular limit except your patience, or if outputting to PICT that has a limit of 4000 pixels for both vertical and horizontal size. Way round that is simply render to something else.
Thread: Bryce Motion Lab annoying enough to drive anyone off the program... | Forum: Bryce
I consider Bryce to be a superb program for producing still images but I have never taken the motion features seriously. Bryce is great for stills, but I always thought from the first time I took a good look at Bryce 3.1 that the programming effort put into adding animation features would have been better used to speed up rendering and fix bugs. Put all that effort into still images and you'll end up being able to produce lovely images, but however much effort you put into Bryce animation the results will be less than your talent deserves.

Face is better than the official one that you have to pay for, well done pal, this is great. The body texture could do with being a little larger so more detail can go in, so if you're feeling a bit perfectionist... Anyway, I love it.
