Am I the only one to see the irony in a post that started about how uncultured some people are should end up in a discussion of netherwinds? ;) Let's have a game of "Name That Smell".

Hi, Ive just come back on line. Xantor, thanks for the message, glad I didn
t offend you. Lesbentley, thanks for the info, just shows what happens when you don`t come in to the forum too often, what was once ancient wisdom becomes redundant ramblings. So I now have an answer that not only has no question but is wrong too! Excellent... I did know the answer to the MOR pose question though...
Thread: an easier way to create MOR files please | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
In essence a MOR pose is a normal PZ2 pose saved with morphs included, with the Rotate and Translate information removed. If you're only doing one you could use your CR2 figure, morphed as you want it, to save a pose out, with morphs included, then edit the PZ2 file in a text editor. I use Syntext which will easily handle a 120Mb CR2 for editing. (I make MAT poses from them) If you remove the "Rotate" and "translate" information from each body part the pose can be applied to a CR2 figure as normal without the position of the figure changing. It looks like this: rotateZ zrot { keys { static 0 k 0 0 } } It`s okay for a couple but after doing a few in a row you lose the will to live! If you only want to do, say for example, the head just save the pose with only the head selected from the subset menu Something to consider, perhaps?

Ditto ynsaens comments, no malice was intended. I
ll certainly try and help if you remember what it was.

No, a prop can`t have MATs applied from a MATpose without being parented to a figure. I have an answer but no question.

Another potential cause can be reversed normals in the model. Check in C4D if that specific polygon face is pointing the wrong way to the rest.
Thread: Renderosity, how DARE you! NOW I'm really, really angry - RMP Censorship | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Its an odd glitch too. Yesterday it appeared on my home computer but not at work. Today it was the opposite. Haven
t re-logged either time, but will now. Weird.
Thread: List of conforming clothing whose geometries work as dynamic clothing too. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
So far I've got the following to work by loading the Dress Figure and saving it out as a separate OBJ, with all options turned off except "Weld Body part seams": Awful Soul Minishirt Awful Soul My shirt DAZ Bikini Top and Bottom RDNA Empire Dress Jim Burton Halter Top Jim Burton Sweater Mazak`s Vest PhilC Bustier PhilC Cami Knickers PhilC Camisole PhilC Classic Wrap PhilC Corset B PhilC Gown PhilC Stockings PhilC Teddy Poserworld Cleavage dress Poserworld Leather Top Uzilite 072002 Top Note a lot of these are Victoria 1&2 conformers but all fit Victoria 3 in dynamic form, with some scaling.
Thread: Predator and female Predator? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
According to "Upcoming Movies" AvP is due August 6th 2004. A very specific date, make of that what you will. Theres no casting news and the story isn
t from the Dark Horse comics but current rumours make it look more likely to happen than it has for a while. I spent a long time converting TBKoens Predator into a Mike version, for personal use only, couldn
t count the number of copyrights infringed doing it.
Thread: This has been bugging me for some time.... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
The new window actually can be bigger than the workspace. As joffry mentions you should set your window size to the same aspect ratio as the workspace window, then you won't lose any details. However Poser won't render in a new window larger than the work space window. Instead it renders the whole picture in a sort of "keyhole view" and you will only see the rest of it by using the scrollbars at top and bottom of the new window when the render finishes. The picture will save just fine, at full size. If your using P4 the maximium render size can be about 4000 pixels square, although you can do bigger as an animation.

In answer to lynnJonathan's question, yes I did make some PAE morphs for the P4 woman. It's pretty simple as you could use some of the standard movement morphs, and rename them with a PAE prefix to add them to PAE's system. If you've never seen the PAE in action you are lucky, because you don't know what you're missing in Poser 5. It's a shame Masa didn't develop it further as it would be a best-seller as a utility.
