Thread: Help from those that animate | Forum: Vue
Vue 4.05 and 4.06 (same results) on a Windows 2000 machine. Dual 1.2 Athlon with 1GB ram. Not worried about hardware. I've tried several new files with no luck. I haven't re-installed the entire Vue program from scratch yet though. I guess that's what I'll do next when I get some free time. Thx for all your replies.

The messages about harddrive space are a little weird too.. The animation is 200k and it's telling me I may not have enough room to render? lol oh well, at least it lets you go ahead and render anyways. =)

Thx.. It seems to sometimes creat waypoints that are reversed to the position.. odd stuff..

What resolution did you render at? If you're watching it at larger then the rendered resolution it will get worse. Could it be motion blur?
Thread: Maybe a stupid question... | Forum: Vue
I'm suprised you're hitting that many polys and that file size. My largest project (still in the works) is at about 2.8 million polys and 218megs. However I've got 18 full poser characters ranging from the default poser guy to Mike and Eve to Vic. What format are you importing the poser character(s), and flowers?

Anytime Mike, I owe something to the community. =) I don't post alot, but I read these forums almost everyday.

To Sharon, thx alot. I know the road ahead is still quite long though. All fun and keeps me happy. =) Mike: I only brought it up because I've never seen anyone post such comments on so many pictures. I can understand taking criticism (sp?) the wrong way, however these are outright insults. I appreciate your taking action, I only had one item commented, but the person who posted the picture on the above link had comments on two items in a row! Anyhow, I have more productive things to do then waste more time on him. I have more Vueing to do today before the weekend is over. Thx again, Chris

Here the link to the picture. There are many more though.Thread: Vue 4.03 Beta Update | Forum: Vue
Warning for those thinking of trying out the Beta. I loaded it up today since I've never had any problems with any of the updates. On the good side, OpenGL works perfectly with my NVidia card!! No more wireframe, weee and the bad side, I cannot save anything rendered to screen.. You click save and bam.. Nothing is written.. The only way to get anything on disk is to render to disk directly.

Thread: Problems import Poser Models into Vue.! | Forum: Vue
I haven't done alot of poser importing with OBJ files, however my question is this; why not import as PZ3? True, to get transparencies to look right you have to tweak them in Poser before you import, but it works great for me.

Quadro 4? I thought the current was the Q2, then the newest is the DCC.. Either way, I'm pissed, better hide well! =)
