I have to agree. Some of the forum headings are designed very well, while others are not. My tiny complaint has to do with some of the font colors and combinations - especially neon colors. Very bright colors tend to hurt my eyes, which is why I prefer light grey or white text against a black background.

I'm using XP home edition - Bryce 4 works well, but I could never get Bryce 5 to work on the XP and eventually returned it. Corel's opinion was that there may have been a corruption in that particular installation disk that my XP didn't like and though they offered to replace the CD, I decided to stick with 4. My Poser 4 works well, too.

I really appreciate all of this advice and jelisa, thank you for that tutorial. I'm going to have to take some time to sit down and work out each of these and see what happens. This has cleared up a lot of the mystery of lighting for me. :)

You're right, it is greyscale, so I'll see what I can do to fix that. My little shortcut with the alpha channel may be why I have problems with other textures as well. sigh More learning to do, it seems. Thanks for all your advice. :)

Vasquez, sort of. What I did was copy the texture for the hair and placed it in the alpha channel since there isn't a transparency file for the hair. You can see by the eyelashes, though, that there is a transparency there that worked properly. Maybe that might be the trouble?

The one on the left is how the cleo hair imports from Poser into Bryce with the following tweeks: Diffusion is set to 100 Ambience is set to 18 Specularity is set to 10 On the right, same settings but transparency is selected and blend transparency is selected as well. This is according to Curio's tutorial which works for Michael's Wedge hair, but not this.Thread: Importing Poser to Bryce problem. | Forum: Bryce
AgentSmith - has this grouper been tested on WinXP? I saw that it's only available for earlier versions of windows.
