The mapping will have to be applied outside of Poser using a Utility like UV Mapper. Poser has zero UV mapping capability so it has to be ready to accept a texture when poser gets it. Once you have it UV mapped, you can go into the material room and apply any material you like.

Do you get any sort of error message? Also is there anything written in the system or application logs when it fails? You can view those logs by right clicking on My Computer and choose manage.

I recently purchased it and it installed fine. I don't think the download itself is bad, but I am not sure how best to resolve it. Try installing something else that uses an install shield wizard. It could be some of the common files have become corrupted.

Eyebrow shape will have to be changed using a morph dial I would think. The texture itself looks good, the brows might be just a little to dense but other than that, I like it.

Thats not a bad Idea Ernyoka, not sure why I had not thought of that. I will give it a shot and see how it works.

Ok geep thanks to your tutorial snippet it is now poser ready. All I have let to do it pack it up along with the materials and post it. Going to post it in pieces since only have the wall and door section ready right now. The other pieces should be cake though.

Hmm it sounds to me like a dirty line corrupting your packets. You might try reinstalling the modem and related software, if that doesn't fix it you can try replacing the modem. If that is not the solution that your local telephone provider should be brought in to test the line.

The idea was to have modular sections. One section with a door, another section that was just a flat wall, another section that had a window etc. That way they could be put in and positioned to make the building any shape or size you wanted. The above render is only the wall with door section. I have the plain wall section but haven't exported it into poser yet. Does anyone know how to make the door swing inside Poser?

Thread: Poser 5 Render Lockups | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Ok lowering the bucket size to 15, and hiding everything you cannot see seems to have helped. I just put in a new light and was able to render it again. This is one of those times when I really wish I had the low res mike and vicky figures. It still takes it 5-6 times as long to render as the old P4 engine does but that is acceptable for the moment. I still have 3 characters and clothing that need to be added in but at least now it isn't locking up. I dread trying to do hair, as the hair always seems to lock it up.

Well if not for the material room I wouldn't bother much either. I just need to take a day and go through and try to standardize my installs. I have some things installed in the P5 runtime that I don't have in the P4 runtime which makes switching between the two hard.
I tried the scene in P4 and it works just fine, so it looks like firefly is my problem. I guess I will just have to see what kind of look I can get without the firefly render until I can let it sit and think about it all night, perhaps 8 hours of render time might be enough for firefly.

Thread: Tutorial on creating clothes? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If you don't mind spending a little money you can check out the video tutorials in the marketplace. MarkDC has some excellent ones covering start to finish modeling of a shirt in 3D Studio. But the methods used should apply to just about any modeling program out there...
