Thread: Importiing Poser Figures in Vue4? How? | Forum: Vue
Oops, thanks wabe. I'm using Poser4.03 and Vue 4.22. I close Poser and then Import the Poser .pz3 file. Once the figure appears in Vue, there's no textures, hair or clothing. Also, when scaling the Poser figure, it gets out of proportion.

Thanks EnglishBob. The po2 is really something. Good grief! Is that how Poser looked before I first purchased Poser4? Your idea about double-clicking on the dial to bring up its properties real helpful. I always read the product's morph-list to know what morphs are available. Now I can at least search it out by double-clicking. ~Steve~

Thanks Jules53757. I normally use 1024x768 resolution. I tried 800x600, but the results were the same. Ooh, if it weren't for using the computer mostly for graphics, I could learn love 800x600. So easy on the eyes.

Thanks SamTherapy and Furyofaseraph! I'll give these tips a go. I'd thought that I'd need something additional like UV Mapper or something. These tips make sense. Steve
Thread: Importing one .pz3 into another .pz3??? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks PhilC and karen1573 for your advice. The Poser4 manual doesn't help much, regarding the steps about how to save a character. I'll attempt both these techniques and see what I can do. Phil, I'm not certain about the steps to take with the procedure you described, although I'm sure it works well. Karen, you're method seems easy to use, as the lights are what really causes the biggest trouble.
Thread: Help! File List too Narrow | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks for your help everyone, but I think I mis-communicated. It's not the LENGTH of the dials from top to bottom. It's the WIDTH of the dial NAMES from side to side. Sometimes, the dial NAMES overlap the NUMBERS. Sorry I didn't give a better description in the first place. As for the runtime folders themselves; I try to keep directories as tidy as necessary. I prefer to move items in-and-out of the runtime folder as I use them. If I need something extra for a project, I'll add it to the runtime. Then when I'm not going to use it anymore, I remove it from the runtime. Very tedious, but it works for me.

Thanks. Seems V3 has morph dials for all parts/combinations. Now that you mention it, it IS a logical place to put them. Hmm . . wonder if Features might be a nice place. Whatever, at least I know now where it's located.
