I think there are still shadows because the floor has a fading mask. The shadows you still see are supposedly cast on the floor that fades into the background.
If you use PS anyway, you might also render without a background over a solid color and save the render as tif to get an alpha channel. I would use a light purplish grey and add the background in postwork.

Thread: I hate Poser 8's Library so much... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - I bought the Shaderworks Library after watching the videos on his store site. It was 1/2 off and I gambled that it would work like he said it does. It took a little getting used to, but I really like how it works! It's head and shoulders above the old Poser 8 SR3 library. I love the ability to see everything from my multiple runtimes, select a character, clothes, texture, morph, and pose all at once, click a button, and have the assembled product pop up on the screen. The link's below if your interested:

That's what I did too. I had already decided to return P8 because of the lame library. But then I tried Semidieu's Library Manager and from then on lived happily ever after ... :)

Quote - Is anyone else having problems with the new Poser 8 SR3?
I hate it. It just stops working. The FFRender.exe just vanishes. Today I had 7 render crashes. No way to work under this conditions.
Does anyone know how to go back to SR 2? do I have to uninstall P8 completely and then reinstall?

Thread: Daz kid K4 proportions | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I just posted this in an other thread:
"....
It is a small child of no more than 4 years. There are no morphs (or other cr2s) included to depict other ages like a 6 or 8 year old child. These would have so very different proportions all over, you can't just scale them. Somehow I had expected to get just that, children from about 4 to about 8 years old. Dumb old me.
So, if you need a Kindergartenchild, the Kid4 maybe right. But I won't try to send it to school, it maybe get laughed at and suffer severe personality damages. ;)
....."
The image shows the K4 and the included Toddler morph. I found no way (with the included morphs from the mophs ++ pack)Â to make the K4 looking like an 8 year old child.

I'm thinking about returning the pack I paid for. But on the other hand, the included hairstyles (fitting other figures too) alone maybe worth keeping it. But why do I complain. I never used the 'old' kids either. Coming to think of that now, they weren't looking all bad ... the old ones. And they may do well for the actual image I intend to make with a 10 year old girl and boy in it. ;)
BTW, Corvas' abilities are needed again. The K4 has the same armpit problem as the other Gen4 people. ;)

Thread: What reflects in a mirror - Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - But but but ... You have Reflection_Lite_Mult turned on! You're going to confuse the crap out of yourself there. The reflections are now multiplied with the amount of direct light hitting the mirror. Every time you adjust lights, they will alter the effective value of Reflection_Value - they should not.
Got me. That was a glitch. I tried out many different settings yesterday. so when I made the screenshot, I caught a wrong setting.
Thread: What reflects in a mirror - Question | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thinking of your point about rendering without lights, I tried to lighten the background of the reflection with clouds (image above). This may look right in some situations. But the blue and white objects were still too dark. So I removed the clouds and put a backlight between mirror and objects and pointed it at a flattened (invisible) cylinder, that cuts through the objects. This lights up the whole mirror not only the reflection, but I will try this out with a full scene.
Thanks again for your help. Till now I mostly solved problems the quick and dirty way, very often in postwork, but this waked up my ambitions to wrestle more out of the Poser features and out of me.
