Yep. Now my only problem is, V4 won't load correctly. She loads as grey boxes, and that I have not been able to figure out yet. And, yes, I still use V4 because I can't get Genesis 3 to load morphs properly. Also, I like V4 better for some reason.

Yes, I have tried everything. Another problem is that the Render menu in Daz is no longer there, so I wouldn't know how to render a picture even if I could make one.

Yep, that did the trick, thanks--but what if I ever have to render in a separate process? >.>

Thanks, MegaJax--I appreciate the links! It's what I was looking for, but please keep sending product links to me, everyone!

It does help. How do I make the colored image black and white, though? I know if I use "greyscale" in Photoshop, it will be grey and dark grey, but not black and white. WildHunt

No, the background is completely gone. Like when I open the rendered PNG file in Photoshop, everything is there against a clear background. I mean, I can just slide the background underneath no problem, but half the time I can't remember what background I used to begin with, which is why I like to render the background with the rest of the picture. But as I said, I can't do that any more. I just want to know what to click to change that.

V4.1 is a piece of crap, and I want Daz to replace my regular V4 for not warning people that there might be issues and they should back up their regular V4 before installing the new!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only symptom is the head INJ files for my characters don't work. The bodies do, but the head files don't. It's just...weird. And sometimes the head INJ files make the head three times as large but don't change it otherwise. I could see if it changed the face but also made it bigger--that I could just undo the head size, but it just changes the head size but nothing more. Maybe it's just the Mac V4.1 this is weird on. Yes, I have a Mac.

But say I do manage, after several years, to get the character like I want. How do I give it skin texture, make up, stuff like that? And is there a place to at least learn what the various face morphs do, so I don't go through the process of going "Okay, let's work on the cheeks--.001, no... .002, no... .003, no" and spending years just getting a cheek close. I know it won't be perfect, but I'm looking for CLOSE.

Sweet! I'm no good at complicated stuff. :) If it's easy to do, then I can probably--PROBABLY--do it. Get complicated on me, and I'll tear my hair out. :)

I'll have to check out that magnet kit. Is it difficult to use for someone who has never worked with magnets in Poser before?

Okay. So, they have programs to help with that...unfortunately, none for a Mac, so I'll just have to live with dialing and "close enough for government work." Thanks for the answers!
