Well...after all the help I got here I ended up putting my "Cathedral" on hold, and ended up creating this! I did my "vaulted ceilings" using a tecnique similar to Cinema 1954's great tutorial. I'll try to put a tutorial together showing the route I took, and post it when I get a chance! Hope you like my new picture!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! I'm still working on it, have a lot left to do!. I'm running C4D 7 on a Mac, (G4 Dual Ghz).. I was hoping you were a Mac user as well...not that I'm holing it against you or anything! I may have been able to help you out though if you were. Thanks again for your help and comments! I'll keep ya posted on my progress!

Thats alright, it was a good tease! :-) The booleans have actually been working pretty well for me so far. I suppose it is possible to do it with splines and such, but I don't have much experience modeling that way :-( Here is my work in progress though...hope you like it! By the way, what kind of system are you running C4D on?

Thanks, the "sample video" was very enlightening! Unfortunatly it ended just as it was about to show the part I REALLY wanted to see!! :-( I hate when that happens! I can't figure out how to get it "skined" from where the video ended...at least not in Cinema 4D. Oh, well...I'll sleep on it, maybe it'll come to me :-) Thanks for your help!
