Thread: How to make stained glass effect? | Forum: Photoshop
hey thanks retrocity.. well the image is a 1600x1200 rendered Poser scene of just 4 "nude" figures posing seperately in various positions over a plain background. that's it. quite plain so that i could work with textures, image effects, etc. and see what i can come up with, and that's when i was evoked to want to see the image with a stained glass effect. but if i can find a technique that works on any kind of image, then that's what i'm looking for. so please feel free to do it on whatever kind of image you like if you don't have Poser....

no... i'm looking for something else - either a technique or a filter. thanks but phsop's filter is garbage.
Thread: Any side effects to renaming hair, prop and character files? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Just for further clarification I want to move any .cr2 hair and prop files out of the Figures directory into the hair and prop directories where they belong. So it's not a good idea to rename .cr2's to .pp2 or .hr2's or vice versa? Yes I did mess around with renaming pose mat files to cam files for better structure etc. But with PBoost, i may not have to do anything at all. I'll have to look into this program.
Thread: Attention Macro lens & 35mm camera users - your input wanted! :-) | Forum: Photography
Excellent! i'm actually planning on using my shots for digital purposes and not to be printed out (at least on my end). I never knew digital cameras could have lens attachments. I'm checking out that link above, thanks for the info. Asalina - are any photos in your gallery taken with your digital camera? And how do you like your digital camera compared to a "normal" 35mm ?

My budget is like $200, if that's unrealistic then I could go like $300 I guess. I'm not a professional, just an enthusiastic hobbyist so I'm looking for quality without a professional price if you know what I mean :)
Thread: Create 3D objects from a 2D drawing -useful for Vue! | Forum: Vue
I can't wait to check this out when I get home from work. This is how I thought 3d modelling should have always been. I saw the example images and they are ok. I wonder how much detail you can give to a sketch, and to save to .obj format is great. Have you tried it Guitta? Can you make highly detailed obj's with it or just basic models?
Thread: Can I rename all character, prop, hair files except .obj's & textures ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Great, I thought so. Thanks for the reassurance! I'm also looking at that Poser Boost to see how good it is and maybe that will help.

Thank you all very much! I will have to try these. I do have texture maps, i just want to try to cut down on the "shininess" or the dull clay look I often get.

Pardon mois, parlais VUE englais? What is this game?? LOL My french is VERY BAD, but my eyes are not! I love this picture!!! You have indeed "captured the moment". Yes, the ground texture is excellent and I wish you would give a hint as to how you made that ground. This is also excellent because it's unique and fresh! And what I mean is that we see all the time pictures of sunsets, dragons, abstract art, etc. which is great! Don't get me wrong! But sometimes in seeking to make that perfect picture we overlook what goes on around us and we try to make something never-before-seen, but sometimes we look too hard. You didn't and you captured that perfectly. Thanks for sharing! I can't wait to go home to look at it because of my graphics card here at work is only 256k resolution!!! YUCK! Paul

f the rules! artists make their own. keep it up LrdSatyr8. After all, how many people around here actually paid for their software/textures.

too much light - it's an attic - lamps don't throw off that much light. the moon has no glow and is too small for such a clear night. unrealistic. why is the material rainbow? no such kind of material for such a scene. dog is too small, very bad perspective.
