In my opinion to achieve a closeup photo realistic look renders you need an extreme high resolution skin texture and as I know there are not so many in Poser characters only few vendors make photo realistic skin textures one of them is Danae like the metropolitan collection London character and maybe some other vendors make high resolution skin textures. The second issue is you have to use more light and shadows in your renders like the hand holding the parfum bottle there are no shadows, if you put some more shadows by applying some lights the hands will look as if she is holding the bottle, at present render you have done her hands looks like in the air and far away from the bottle, the blue ring on her finger has no shadows as well. As nothing is perfect in this world if you have some photoshop skills you can make some minor retouches by using the Liquify tool in photoshop to correct the uneven fingers position. In my renders using several light with shadows are must as well as photoshop corrections. In my opinion a poser render will never look photo realistic unless you use special lights, for me the most difficult part in poser renders are to play with lights, you have to experiment a lot of time with lights and I am sure you can get it as you like if you spend more time. **Nice tips but I don't think my hits will go up or down from now on because of the thumbnails rules and regulations, I don't know if you are aware about the thumbnails issue. What you will crop to crop nudity is not allowed, breasts not allowed, butts not allowed, transparent cloths not allowed soon nothing will be allowed. It looks to me we are going out of the civilization and going back to stone age time with these rules though you can see such thing almost everywhere TV, Magazines, at home, Internet etc. What we are showing with our thumbnails compare to those dirty sites are harmless if they are concerned about these things they should concentrate more to stop those dirty sites (you know what I mean by dirty sites) since today any teenager has access to it and no one can stop it.
Showing thumbnails without nudity OK how about one opens that image the the whole image is nudity so where is the difference. No nudity on thumbnails allowed but nudity on the main image is allowed so this they call it rules.

I simply use the IrfanView for my thumbnails which is free to download. I just open the image as jpg and select the image area where I want to crop by dragging a square equal box with the mouse and crop the image, after that go to resize the image and change the pixels to 200x200 and save it in the same directory where the original image exists. I name the thumbnails  with T-  such as T-imagename  so that I know T-  is for thumbnails.
I always post work my images in TIF format in PhotoShop when it's done I save a copy of it as jpg to post it in my gallery but PhotoShop saves images with too many kilobytes so the image becomes large like 800-900 KB even sometimes 1 MB this takes longer time to open them in the gallery so what I do is open the jpg image in IrfanView and save it again (over write) as jpg file, this will reduce the size of the image and becomes around 200-300KB  viewing it in the gallery will be faster. I don't worry overwriting the jpg image since I always keep the original rendered image as a TIF file.

well, I have the feeling Renderosity is slowly becoming a MONASTERY although it's not Renderosity's fault rule is rule.
Specially my work which I use very seldom cloths on figures, now I have to make a standard and special thumbnails showing no nuduty what a boring issue.
I wonder what will come next, maybe they will ask from us do a render without a figure.

OK, No nudity on thumbnails? fine I have to live with it although it's not understandable.
Let me ask this, one sees the thumbnail without nudity and opens the image BOOOOOOOM there the image is completely nudity now where is the difference thumbnails are not allowed nudity but the content of the image nudity is allowed what kind of rules are this.

The solution is like other gallery websites separate the galley into only nudity and non nudity section whoever is offended should even not go to that section.

**Thanks Victoria_Lee for the prompt answer, well, looks like I have to continue using the P3DO Explorer, I have all Poser versions including the 7 but sometimes I do use the P4 for the much faster rendering engine I have been working with P4 since 5 years now and we all learned from P4 for me it's not that easy to give up the P4 totally it is still useful sometimes.

I agree on those all efforts done on V4 textures to create and I appreciate their work and I don't mind the price but one issue I would like to say, I have been testing V4 textures with Poser4 I know P4 it's a bit old fashion but it works and some people out there still use it therefore would be much appreciated if they include the rsr and png files for Poser4 so that the thumbs will be shown in the  Pose folder I'm using the P3dO Explorer software to create those files and that's not

convenient.

Talking about Poser6, I have been trying since 2 days to purchase the Poser6 from Curiouslabs since I have the Poser5, whenever I select the downloadable vesrion and enter my Poser5 serial number it refuses and messages shows Sorry, seial number not valid. I contacted Curiouslabs support by email, they said, there is no reason not to accept my Pose5 serial number and refering me to purchase it from Digital River which no place shows or at least a link to go to Digital River in Curiouslabs web site. It is somehow frustrating to go through all this and after 3 days of trying I still couldn't purchase the Poser6. That's my story, looks like I will give up purchasing Poser6. Thanks

I can say only one thing, whoever considers such art work as pornography should step out of this community, I have seen and know what pornography exactly looks like, Lululee's work I don't consider it as pornography at all, whoever still thinks it that way than sorry I can't help that person. I'm not defending anybody but this is the reality people don't create such work don't know how hard it is, I mysel sometimes create simple 3D object in Max5 and I know how hard it is and sometimes takes me days to finish it, well, to make it shorter Lululee thanks for your efforts and your creations please keep it up.
