There are some free ones over at DAZ for V3, but they should fit V4 if you parent them to her feet.

I can also recommend downloading Lakys' Universal Skin Material Preset. It saves you from having to change all the surface settings manually.

You could check out Pendragon's shader project.

It has options such as sub surface scattering, translucency, ambient occlusion etc, and does produce some really nice results.

Just a little tip to those who don't like the tree structure of the libraries: You can switch to a list structure that's more like Poser's, only better.
Click the little arrow pointing right, next to the content tab and select "View folders as list". I really don't understand why this is not the default because it is so much better and easier to use imo.

There's one in ISOP's Casablanca suit, although it's attached to the shirt, but you could probably hide the shirt parts. To get to the download click 'project' then 'Michael'.Message edited on: 02/03/2006 18:55
Thread: DAZ3D....better than POSER? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
...Well DS has got a much better, fully customizable user friendly interface, that is lightning fast. Just navigating the libraries is pretty much instant. I also love that you can put files wherever you like. For instance I have all hairs in one folder, both character- and propbased, and in subfolders of each hair I have their MAT-files. So much easier.
So the short answer is yes, DS is better than Poser. IMHO :)

Hmm, that's weird... I really have no idea why it would be doing that. You'd probably get better help by asking over at the DS forum at DAZ3d though. Also I see they have relesed a new version (0.9.17.1) You could see if installing that makes any difference.Thread: trying to get the PSO HUnewearl ears to work | Forum: DAZ|Studio
You can't... unless you have Poser. DS does not currently support morphtargets like this one. Maybe in a future version. If you need it desperately, you could try asking over at the poser forum if someone can make an injection file of it.
Thread: Newbie Question - How to directly move body parts? | Forum: DAZ|Studio
Try this: First make sure the rotate tool is selected (alt-shift-r) then click on a bodypart. A transparent sphere with different colored lines or axes should appear around the selected bodypart. Click and hold the mousebutton down on one of the lines (it should turn yellow) and drag the mouse. You'll need to click pretty much exactly on the line otherwise it will become deselected.

Ok, try these settings: Diffuse color to black Glossiness and specular strength at 100% Specular color white Reflection color white Reflection strength 100% Index of refraction at 0 Lighting model glossy These settings should produce a perfect mirror.
Thread: Still trying to do mirror reflections | Forum: DAZ|Studio
You probably have the "index of refraction" set to the default setting 1,00. Try setting it to another value. And make sure you're using the 3delight renderer, not the OpenGL renderer.

It's called "MDP-F202" and although it says P5 only it works just fine in DS, as you can see above. This site uses cookies to deliver the best experience.
