Hi Philip,
I've just sent you this by e-mail and as a message on the site mail too ...
Â
Sorry for the delay in replying but it's been an insanely busy few days at this end as I've had a deadline to meet at work!
Â
Ah yes, the SpaceMaker props were originally made way back in Poser 4 and worked fine in that version. They still render OK in version 5, 6 and I guess 7 (although I haven't upgraded to 7 myself yet to test with), as long as you follow these guidelines ...
Â

I'm not really sure why these props don't render correctly when using the Firefly option to be honest, but as I said they do work fine if you use the P4 renderer instead. My apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Â
Any further questions just ask. Always happy to help in any way that I can.
Â
Kind regards,
Â
Steve
Thread: Cybermesh plugin for Photoshop | Forum: Photoshop
Hi, I remember that particular plug-in from long ago. It was an interesting feature. Unfortunately I haven't seen it available for a few years now. It's a shame that some products like this get left behind when software companies disappear or get taken over. I don't have a full version of this filter I'm afraid and don't know where you could find one these days. But I'll keep my eye out and let you know if I come up with anything. Kind regards, Steve http://www.cybia.co.uk

Hi Dialyn, Yes, it should work fine with PSP as well! You can always join the beta list if you want to test it for yourself? Steve

Thread: Space Suits? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Hi all, Many thanks for the tips and links everyone, much appreciated! Yes, I'd come across that suit at Howarths a while ago but I'd lost the link, so I'll take another look at it now. The suit at StevesArtGallery is quite nice (although not quite what I need, but maybe I could adapt it a bit). There are some other great Poser downloads on the site too so I'll definately return later to grab some. I've been thinking of trying to make my own spacesuit but my modelling skills aren't really upto something that complex yet! But maybe I'll have a go at it and see what happens. I'll let you know if I come up with anything useful anyway. Cheers.
Thread: Consensus or? on ProPack vs. Poser 5...please help new2Poser... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I'm still using P4 and ProPack at the moment as it does everything I need (along with all the extra goodies I've bought and downloaded from Renderosity, of course!). I did try P5 briefly but didn't bother to upgrade as I'm happy with my current setup. There are some nice new features in P5 but as many have already mentioned, they are things that maybe you won't use all the time. Also, I still prefer the P4 render engine over the newer P5 "firefly" one. But I guess that's down to personal taste. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun whatever version you use but don't think P4 is obsolete just because it's not the latest edition. There are still lots of users out there!
Thread: Heads up for magazine freebies | Forum: MarketPlace Showcase
There's some good Poser freebies on this month's 3DWorld magazine CD too. I've just bought it but haven't had chance to install any yet (that should keep me busy for tonight!) Don't know if it's the same items as the Computer Arts CD though.

Hi, Just a quick note to let you know that I hope to be expanding my LandZone packs a lot more in future, so I'm always open for new ideas. Let me know what kind of things you'd like to see added and as soon as I get time I'll be back working on releasing some new regions in the series. The current versions on sale at my store were originally made for my own use and thought I'd try releasing them here to see if anyone else had use for them. I was quite surprised they sold quite well actually! So thanks to everyone who bought them. But now I've learned a little more about this stuff I hope to expand on the idea a lot more. I'll also release some more freebies in the series soon too. Questions, comments, ideas and suggestions are always welcome! SteveThread: Problem whith painting blackwhite photos | Forum: Photoshop

Thread: Problem whith painting blackwhite photos | Forum: Photoshop
Hi, I've just released 3 free plugins for B&W photo effects at my website here : www.cybia.co.uk They are very basic but originally written for myself as I have always liked the traditional B&W format and enjoy replicating a similar look digitally these days. "Hi-Spot" will turn your colour photos B&W with a high contrast automatically, making crisp dark blacks and clean whites. "G-Force" will turn your colour photos a softer B&W with a grain effect. "Techni-X" is a very high-contrast effect for limiting most of the mid-tones leaving a strong image Have fun! Steve
