Has anyone tried the LoRez Monk figure? I'm trying to figure out how to make the robe conform to the legs when I change the leg positions or do a walk cycle.

You know, the only real reason I'm doing this is that if the runtime content doesn't have an installer, you need to manually copy over all the appropriate support files (objects, textures, etc.). With Windows, you can just drag and drop, and it will take care of merging.

On a Mac, it will replace the folders without doing the merge, so existing stuff gets deleted. Or am I doing things wrong??

I have about 7 gigs so far. I did try to move my runtimes to an external drive. These runtimes were installed on Windows. My Windows version of Poser sees them fine (in Bootcamp), but when I try to load them on my Mac version, it doesn't see them (shows "0" in the library window). The external drive is formatted as ExFAT.

This is on Poser Pro 2010.

Considering that this Vue-specific version only outputs .vob files, is there a way, once the city is in Vue, that you can export the city to another format (.obj)?

I tried the re-registration, but CP detected the email address as a duplicate and wouldn't let me proceed.

Sheez, can they make this any harder?

I don't think its spam filtering (though I checked, just in case). I did initially have a couple of emails from CP support, when they started asking for serial numbers. But after a couple of emails the responses stopped.

Is the downloader for the main V6I application allow for "resuming"? I couple of times now it has stopped because of a server disconnect. I'm wondering if it will pick up where it left off, or if there's a danger the file can get corrupted (not another day to download...!!!).

I have BodyStudio for Cinema 4D, and Reiss posted a beta version of the plugin for Poser 6. I have not tried it yet, but at least it sounds as if they are working on it.

From the zip file I received, the .obj file is in the "Geometriescurios creatures" path. The cr2, png, and rsr files are in the "LibrariescharacterCurio's Creatures" path. I tried wiping out these two folders and grabbing the files from the zip, but the same thing happened. Nothing seems to be modified during Poser use. I emailed Curio but got no response yet. Dan

Anyone with the Beta know if trees limbs/leaves can be animated to simulate wind motion?

Thanks for the tip. I figured out how to do it. Here's a quick outline of the steps in case anyone else interested:

2. Create desired animation for the body part(s)
3. Open the Animation Window
4. Select the Animation Sets tab
5. Click New to create a new animation set
6. Select the desired frames in the animation grid
7. Click the plus (+) button to add the selected frames to the animation set
8. You can repeat the above to create more animation sets, or more selections for the current animation set
9. Close the Animation window
10. Open the pose library where you will be adding the animation set
11. Click the plus (+) button (Add to Library)
12. Enter the Set Name in the Set Name dialog
13. Click Select Subset
14. Click the arrow next to Select from Animation Set and choose the desired set
15. Click OK
16. Click OK on the Set Name dialog
17. Click YES to include the morph channels
18. Click the Multi frame animation from the Save Frames dialog. Make sure the start and end frames are correct
19. Click OK
