Thread: Change in TOS...New Child Image Guidelines | Forum: Community Center
I have used (adult) male nudes to display a sense of emotional vulnerablity. If these images were removed from my gallery I would be incensed, this is in IMHO bowing to a frenzied public reaction that does more damage then good anyway. If Renderosity starts turning "anti-gay", "pro-chrisitian" or adopts any other such ethos I for one am going to run for the hills. I would much less fear a discrete picture that involes innocent child nudity then the blatant poser porn that blights the galeries. CONTEXT PEOPLE!!!!!

This is pretty amazing and has a heartfelt sentiment, the wake up call takes many forms. Will the world ever listen?

Getting hold of as many tutorials is the best way to go, however don't follow them blindly. Change some of the settings they use or look for different ways of doing things from what you are told. Dont like a element in their finished version? Leave it out and put in something else. What I am trying to say is that you will devolop your own favourite tools and combinations of functions when you use photoshop. This helps to create your own artistic style, and when looking for tutorials, find those with images that you feel drawn too.
P.S. I can not recommend Computer Arts magazine highly enough and you may want to check out my favourite digital artist, the link to his site is attached. Message edited on: 01/11/2005 05:13
