I think Poser 5 in OSX reads PC files fine with no conversion. It may be as simple as copying your current runtime onto the Mac. Post this in the Mac Forum, there are a lot of people who can help you there...

Dave, The only way you should print in this instance, is to have your clients save their work as PDF AND make sure that thier ACROBAT DISTILLER FONT SETTINGS are set to 100%. That is, if the original software used is Quark with Acrobat Distiller. If they are using Illustator or Freehand, they should convert to Outline - BUT - if the typeface used is really tiny (say, 4pt to 6pt) this may be problem. Have them convert to PDF with 100% font embedding. Also, make sure they are using the same version number as you. Good luck. The one main flaw of PC's is that they are very Press hostile.

Thanks all. It seems that I'm stuck with a interesting problem. I guess I should just stick with the "Poser to Bryce" route. But it seems to be a shame because AM seems to have such wonderfull posibllities... Ah well. Has anyone used the Curious Labs Pro Pack yet? As you can probably tell, I'm not keen on doing fianl renders in Poser by itself.

EXCELLENT! Thanks so much Siegbert. Does anyone else use Cinema 4D? It's pretty fast and has a great renderer. I think it deserves a forum.
