wow i never saw this stuff
that was really some cool stuff
very neat expressionistic stuff...like a modern 1950's psychological pop art.

about 2
dropping to the floor is moving either the hip in y or the body in y. forgot which one. but maybe try using the other one, not drop to floor but manually place it on the floor.
all the poses are gonna do that though, happens with all the resized characters. you can find the difference in the y maybe and add it to each pose in the pz3 file and save a new set i guess.
ah here's an idea. save just the y element in a pose (without any other changes to original aiko) file and use the script ockham created to blend two animations, and just add the two together everytime. i guess you would save the y pose as a bvh motion file.

dont give up
we buy many things that take the character and spin the dials to create something somone put together. i think we're confusing passing off your dial spinning as a morph of your own. i can't say i know what the answer is to this (yet) but it is there, lots of people do it, and you can too. i am certain you can spin the dials without copywrite problems. after all, what they desire is that the person receiving this file must have their package of morphs already, not that you are sending actual morphs created from their morphs.
i would try asking some content creator whose work does this very thing for further clarification, maybe someone you have bought something from.
when you find us out please clue us in too.
good luck
Thread: Help Please....Anyone Here on SECONDLIFE? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
i have heard of animations being designed in poser and exported to second life.
but all the objects here are pretty hi resolution, and second life is pretty low res. what you could do is get uvmapper and open some of the textures here and open some of the second life textures and see if you can stretch or push them to fit.
i believe also that second life may have a texture size limit that you might have to abide by and of course beware of copyright issues. you definitely want the texures as small as possible since every zone in second life loads every single texure (super laggy that way)
as for using objects (people, clothes whatever, the mesh) from poser, it seems very unlikely to me that they will be useable in second life...(unless you were to limit them to an empty zone...)
some of the animations in second life are pretty &^%$ good too...

i am using mask's v4 pureskins lately. i bought the whole set. i like them, they are pretty clean. they are less than 2 megs for each texture though, but they look good.

yeah that looks pretty snazzy
by the way anyone see the 3d Tinkerbell disney's been flashing? looks pretty sharp. i remember thinking the shoulders were very well done. can see it fluttering in a commercial now and then...makes me think they might be thinking of a movie closer to our style, instead of avoiding trying to animate humanish looking characters. (been a long time since Polar Express)
or maybe just bored commercial animators

Thread: morphing obj edges | Forum: Poser Technical
gracias phil that is the answer. morph the parent edge works just fine. (of course now that means two sets of morphs...grrr...but i will load them as full body morphs)

Thread: Apollo's Line of Sight tool | Forum: Poser Python Scripting
another quicky non script quicky way would be to parent the sight tool to the camera after first placing it by the camera(that is, if it is not parented to the figure)

okeydoke i just discovered in case anyone is interested
i still haven't found the original set...however the pose set that ships with apollo max works just fine with anything. i opened in a cr2 editor, the poses are teeny affairs that seem to be specific to nothing as long as the internal parts names are the same. if the internal parts names differ on some character, i'm sure just renaming parts in the pose files would take care of that
