Thread: Have e-on done the greatest theft act ever. | Forum: Vue
Ha !!! My mistake...I was trying to install a Beta version. Through the years I've ended up with hundreds of CD and DVD backups...I finally found what I needed, installed + updated, and all is fine. I contacted E-ON about my problem, and not being able to authorize Vue, and their response was immediate, supplying all the info I needed, all within a half hour. Don't worry, Vue is in good hands.... Mike C.

You're welcome, Forester. I'm pretty sure that I've used some of your products in the past, so support for previous versions is always appreciated when it is possible.
Just in case it helps, I am running 64-but Vue 7 Inf, on windows 10 Pro 64-bit, and was previously running the same on my Windows 7 machine. I haven't tried 32-bit Vue 7 on either Windows 7 or 10.
I've been having the hardest time trying to install VUEInf 9 on my Window's10 Home machine...it just won't go. It's build 900058. Is there anything I can do ??
Thanks. Mike
Thread: Bryce bridge finds the wrong version of Daz Studio | Forum: Bryce
Sorry for the late reply, Steve !!!
Well, I have the old version still installed mostly because it's the version I paid for, and, I haven't been doing any images or 3D modeling for a few years now.
I have quite a few hobbies that I bounce between. I started updating things just in case I got the itch anytime in the near future again. I don't know...maybe I'll get into it again, maybe not. :)

I did a complete re-install of Bryce... The problem is gone now :) All fixed up...
I guess I didn't have the most recent version installed correctly. The Bryce bridge now correctly displays all versions of DAZ Studio installed on my machine. I don't think I completely un-installed Bryce7 before installing the Bryce7 Pro undate last time...
All happy now :)

Ha !! I can't even get to the e-on main page :O) Maybe it's paying customers only at first... then the "maintenance" crew gets to go later.
Really... I think the server is just getting smacked good right now, maybe it will be better in a while.

I keep forgetting to check their website :)
My printer came with a sample of high-gloss paper that I haven't been able to find... I bet it's there too !!! I've got ton's of the matte 13x19 stuff.

Attached Link: Luxology ImageSynth
There's always the ImageSynth plugin from Luxology. It works with programs that can use PhotoShop type plugins. Also, I might mention, it works great, and will do a very nice job automatically, but you do have quite a bit of control over the process if you want it. It's very fast, and was sure worth the money to me.I have it running in PainterIX, PhotoshopCX, PhotoshopCS, and Photoshop Elements 2.
You can check it out at the above link :)

I would say Epson too :) I have a R1800 that pumps out 13"x19" prints. It works wonderful for my Vue and Digit Cam stuff...
My 1800 is about a year old, but, I don't even see them in the stores anymore. So each time I find a place that has ink, I usually buy all I can find :)

Thread: Bryce5 help (I need a good boat) | Forum: Bryce
Could it be that the "item" you're having problems with is intended to be used as a "negitive boolean" object, and should be grouped with a "positive" water or sea... ya know... to kinda hold the water out of your boat ?? I've modeled lots of boats. If it's an "open" boat, I always have to model an object to boolean cut the water from the inside of the boat...so it doesn't look like it's sinking all the time. Just a guess.. Mikey :O)

I would really love this too !!! I like making the meshes more than making images, and usually end up just giving them away after making only one image with them. Maybe it will happen :O) Gets my vote too... Mikey
