Please note there was also an issue with the default texture cache size being too small for most startup projects, causing cpu spikes at launch to rebuild the cache. You may want to check your windows poser.ini/poser prefs on mac. From release notes:
- Improved texture cache performance by increasing the default max size for Poser temp texture cache from 500MB to 1GB. Reduces CPU usage on launch. #1086 NOTE: Users with an existing poser.ini setting will still the use the default max size of 500M or the value they set.

A tip: the postfx is already a sep layer in the EXR. Pull into photoshop and slap a mask on it with the original render under it and use a mask to custom apply those fx only where you want them.

It usually only does this for items that you've previously purchased so you don't accidentally buy them twice.

This is a known bug in Java 1.4.1. They thought they had fixed it, but people are still reporting it. The good thing is it only happens occasionally. Roy
Thread: Unable to connect into chat room | Forum: Community Center
There's lots of active development going on in chat right now, so the server goes down occasionally. Try it again sometime and see if this was just a temp problem. Roy

Flaxyn, It would not apply to you. Here's some examples to try to clear things up FAQ I'm a regular merchant at RR, does this affect me? -No But I make and sell stuff at other sites? -No But I make and sell stuff at other brokered sites? I sell at DAZ, PoserPros, and I work at 3DCommune. -No But I have my own site where I sell my things? -No But I have my own site where I broker other people's kitchen ware where we share the profit? -No, if you aren't competing with RR, its not a problem But I have my own site where I broker other people's 2D/3D art related things where we share the profit? -Yes, this is the only case affected by this change. People who are operating competing brokerage sites. Unless you are cutting people checks for sales of their 2D/3D art related things on your site, or plan to, you have nothing to worry about. R
Thread: Moved threads | Forum: Community Center
Prior to this fix, if you attempted to access a thread that's been moved it used to erroneously say it had been deleted. Now with the fix in place, it will inform you it has been moved and give you a link to continue on to the new forum where you can read the original message. R
