It's an MPEG-4 Codec designed to work with Quicktime. However, it is different enough from normal DivX so that you still need a different DivX Codec to play most DivX encoded files. I hope this answers the question ^_^. For more info check out the official page.Thread: PPP Update Problems - Mac only | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL

How many groups do you get when you go to the Materials menu (Preview and how many others)? It might be that you have to select the material for each group individually. I'll look into it more later (at work now).

There was a beautiful anime in the 80's called Maison Ikkoku. It is (I guess Viz has released it here), a romantic comedy and I fell in love with the characters when I saw it. The main male protagonist is named Yusaku Godai (although in Japanese its always the other way around), who is a wonderful person but a definate work progress. I guess I identified with the guy, hence gyusaku (first letter of last name and first name). Real name: John p.s. Nice thread Ron. I like histories :).

If the program can save an Wavefront OBJ file (.obj) you should be able to make clothes. For the details of the matter check out some of the great tutorials that are in the tutorials section. As for programs you will need to work with the files get BBEdit (BBEdit lite is a free and powerful text editing program - www.barebones.com), Macconverter 1.1.4(www.soft-rabbit.com),and UV Mapper (for textures -www.uvmapper.com). As far as making changes to a file and poser not recognizing it, anytime you make a change in a file just drag and drop it on macconverter...problem solved (if you are working in BBEdit it's even easier because you can save the changes and BBEdit does not change the kind of file that it is so Poser still recognizes it). I have found the Mac a wonderful platform for poser, so good luck and enjoy.

There might have been textures, but the Gi itself is for sale at DAZ (http://wwww.daz3d.com). Sounds like a neat project. Good luck.

Nerd's site (www.nerd3d.com) also had some (christmasy though) think they were called Carla's Gloves or something. Also the 3D comic collective (www.3d-cc.com) had some in the misc. props section... I think...it's been awhile. Good luck.
