I'm not talking about the Swish files, I'm talking about the swf files. I am talking about he swf files that Swish exports out, which I am later importing into flash to use as part of another movie. My movie is only 100KB in size, after I import a 29KB swf file (that swish exported) into my movie, the file size jump to about 353KB for the final output. Is there any way to get around this or not?
Thread: Ring around the marquee | Forum: Photoshop
You could do that too, there's more than one way of doing things in photoshop...what ever works for you.
Thread: Ring around the marquee | Forum: Photoshop
I'm not really sure I understand you, but there are a couple of ways you can aproach what I think might be your soulition. Once you have created the shape you desire using the "Marque, Lasso, etc". Go to the "Channels Tab" besied the layers tab. Create a new channel by clicking on the new channel icon on the bottom. Once you create your new channel, you should automatically be there with your entire image in black, and the Marquee selection still selected. Fill up the selection with white...once filled in white you can deselect. Now this new channel you just created will be sort of a stencil for your shape...all you have to do is click on the "Load channel as selection" button, that is the firt button at the bottom of the channels pallete, and it will automatically load up the shape you had created. With the selection loaded go back to your layers pallete making sure that the "Red, Green, Blue" channels are showing so that you won't be seeing all black. And in a new layer with the selection already loaded just fill with the desired color. Just go back and forth from your channel that you created, load the selection, and back to your layers, and fill the selection. I hope I that help you out in any way..and since i wasn't sure if you were familiar with channels, I tried to be as informative as possible. If you are going to be using the shape that you created over and over again, and just filling them up with colors, It's an easy way to do, and you get and exact duplicate only different color. Another easier way to do it is, once you have filled up your selection with your desired color(make sure your filled up shape is in a new layer), just make a duplicate layer, then go to "Image->Adjust->Hue/Saturation" and click on the check box that says "Colorize", and move the Hue and Saturation sliders to get the color you want.

What format are your images in? Ok...do it like this..You have to make sure that your image is in RGB mode. Go to Image->Mode and make sure that the check mark is set on "RBG Color ", Next click on the Channels tab...You should see 4 Layers...Your "RGB" Composite on top and the thumbnail showing it in coloer...The 3 other layer underneath it are your "Red, Green, and Blue" Channels, and the thumbnails should be in grayscale. Next click on the "Red" Channel and you should see the image turn into grayscale, that's because each channel is only 8 bits(256 colors)....once you are in the "Red" Channel use the move tool to move it a couple of pixels to the right...after moving the "Red" Channel click on the "RBG" layer on top of it, and you should see your image back in color. You can use your glasses to view it, and if necessary shift it less or more...what ever give you a better 3D picture.

All you have to do is when you have your picture go to the channels pallete, click on the red channel, and shift it a couple of pixels to the right side(you could use the arrow keys to keep it horizantal), When you go back to viewing it noraml, you'll see the effect, you can try shifting it more/less, what ever gives you the better result.

Thread: Circular Text | Forum: Photoshop
to create circular text in illustratro, just use the circle tool to make a circle (just the stroke, no fill in the circle), next go to the type tool, and if you hold it down you will see that it has different type styles(just like the photoshop version does, but more), choose the one with the wavy line and the "T" on top of it. That's the type tool to make type follow a path. Next click on the circle and you should see the blinkind bean, and just start typing. If you don't like the position of the type, just simply use the move tool(which is the top left button on the tool bar) and just use it to move it along the curve. You can then save it as a pic, and open it in photoshop....one thing I haven't tried is coping the type once it's done and pasting it to photoshop....try it.

Thread: Using Gradient | Forum: Photoshop
Thread: allright photoshop experts, need help here... | Forum: Photoshop
U can put them all in one big piece of canvas as separate layers and arrange them so that u can see them all. Sort of like a big frame with all your rendered pictures. Then flatten the image into one. Then conver it to what u want with the 256 color pallette, once u do that, just cut each render out and save it. You might also want try to go to: Image-adjust-index color and play around with the pallette and repeat the rest. ~HaRoLd~
Thread: Any Suggestions? | Forum: Photoshop
I don't know exactly what u'r tying to blend, but if it's the beggining of the hands and the shirt. You can do this, if u have two separate layer, one for the hands and the other layer for the 2D drawing go to; layer-Add layermask-Reveal all. You should have a layer mask now. Make sure u'r background and foreground color are at white and black. Now make a selections that u want to be blended in such as from the wrist of the hand to part of the shirt etc, it doesn't have to be perfect selection. Now use the gradient across your selection, and it should blend it in very nice. You can do it separetly for each hand. If u want to adjust the blending go to the options for the gradient, where the navigator bar is, and adjust the level of the gradient. This blending mode using layer masks works as it takes what ever is white as the part with the highest opacity, and as it get darker it decreases the opacity, and eventually black will be completely transparent. That is why using the gradient u get an even blend and adjustable however u want it too be. You can also use any painting tool and using black will make it trans parent, and using white will make make it more opaque. Hope that I helped u with your problem. ~HaRoLd~

I think for the Female everyone would love to see JENNIFER LOPEZ, every guy will thank you for it. For the Male I think Al Pacino, or Harrison Ford will be great.

I've looked at their web page, I was looking into getting one, but they are a little expensive. Are they worth the money? Are their any other inexpensive tablets that will do just as good etc?
