FYI there is an animator who created two full length animations with Poser. The first was "Raven" and then "Raven2". Here's the link--http://www.daredevilfilms.net/
Work was started on the third animation "Frankenstein vs. The Wolfman" but there's been no update on this one for almost 2 years now. When it was first announced the filmmaker stated on his website that it would take a year to complete. the first two films as I recall took about a year to make. You can definitely see improvement in R2 from R1.
Anyway, its nice to see a post about Poser animation instead of the new V4 figure. Improved figures like V4 make animating in Poser a moving target.
Thread: Does this community really need a V4 figure from DAZ? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
It would seem I'm in a very small minority of opinion as far as V4 goes. I'm not interested in using Poser and DAZ characters for stills, just animation and the increasing complexity of newer DAZ characters makes this a moving target. Â
Thread: Anal Probe Kit in free stuff | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
If I post a render showing the "anal probe" thingy being used in V3's mouth do I have to show a nudity warning?

I'm sold but I still don't like this marketing strategy by e-frontier. Their strategy to drag things out might just boomerang back on them when they start competing in the Christmas season for dollars that we need to spend on gifts for friends and family members. Any word on the release date?

A tech/sales support guy. Got the impression he was not actively involved in programming it.

Thread: DIY Motion Capture for Poser | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
This is the most exciting Poser development in years. Are you suggesting that it is possible to make Facial-motion capture as well as body motion capture? If you can pull this thing off you'll be able to retire at a very young age. Good luck and please keep us all posted.
Thread: SoftImage Facial Animation software | Forum: Animation
This program is very reminiscent of Facestation by Eyematic. The video/demo put out by Eyematic back then is very nearly identical to the one put out for this program. However, I beleive Facestation was a flop as I haven't read anything about it for awhile.

Thread: Which Poser? 4, 5 or 6 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I don't have Poser 6 but in every post I've seen regarding it everyone says that the render times are "slower than" in earlier Poser 5. IMHO, I don't think the small changes made in Poser 6 would have warranted its release. It strikes me more as being Poser version 5.5. I'll wait for Poser 7, whenever that comes.
Thread: Why doesn't Tailor 1.1 recognize CRZ files in conforming clothes folder? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Thanks everybody, now I got it figgured out. Mr. PhilC, I have wardrobe wizard but haven't used it much. Is it possible to bypass the Tailor altogether to get a perfect fitting clothing item with WW with P4 figure and P4 clothes? I mean will it add the morphs like the tailor does?
Thread: Cool Poser spotting....Do you know how this was done? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Best bet is it was done with Endorphin which is a rag doll physics program (and not much else to be candid) I beleive there is a way to import a DAZ or Posette skeleton into Endorphin 2.0 or LE and then save it as a bvh file which can then be imported into Poser. Its been awhile since I played with Endorphin 1.0 and in that version it was not possible to import other skeletons.
