or, Create a Web Site and set up an XML index with a search page.  Google will find you quick.
or, Enter a well known Art Competition and win.  Like www.upstreampeoplegallery.com again, the search engines will find you.  After I won I got three offers from Galleries to represent.

If you have a Web Site or Web Page you can link to other sites and help step up your traffic.  It takes a lot of work and you want to go with those sites that get a lot of traffic and have good rankings in the search engine.

It took me more than a year to get a top rank in the search engines and now I have traffic at my sites in the thousands each week.   I also advertise in Google Adwords and Microsofts similar advertising scheme.  it dosen't happen overnight.

I have Pro and the beta will not download by update.  You can download manually but I believe, that e-on is a bit cautious about the beta and is not recommending download until it goes official. 

I think they have learned a valuable lesson from the last Version when everyone was installing the beta's and "all Hell broke loose."  I think I would proceed with caution with the beta until they rerelease it as a final.

The $99 Download for Pro Studio I got yesterday was version 7.21-04 Build 39389 and it stated no other patches were needed.

Thelby, after five more uninstalls and reinstalls last night, about 2:00 A.M. in the morning I finally got an Activation Screen, wouldn’t you know without the Synchronize button. I put the codes in and kept hitting the Enter key anyway. After about 10 minutes of watching the screen sit there, everything disappeared. 

Vue kept dialing in and so I uninstalled, cleaned, and reinstalled twice more and now it finally loads without Synchronizing. 

OMG, I am keeping my fingers crossed.  

Yeah, I did a registry clean and total drive delete of everything Vue and e-on. 
The problem is I don’t have the three lines on the Vue activation screen anymore to input any code. It is gone even after two installs.

After searching the FAQs I found a short indicating that if you did not fill-in those two lines and hit the big button, or had an interruption, a Null registration, or incomplete registration would be sent to the server and logged as valid.  The effect is that the activation cannot find a valid registration and as a result the three lines for Activation will not refresh. You can delete and try to reinstall the Registration, but you cannot get rid of the current Activation Code.  Since I can’t wipe their system clean, I can’t get the activation screen back so Tech will have to try to straighten it out.

I am somewhat surprised, I do a lot of Web Forms, and a Required Field would help to stop such an occurrence. 

Life goes on, I have the 7 Install codes for the next upgrade. Staying current was my primary concern.

Thanks Thelby, but I don't have the activation screen.  I had a error during installation and when i clicked on the error the screen disappeared and reinstallation does not bring it back.  The software has been registered and I have the activation codes and nowhere to put them.

Well, I broke down and got the Downloaded version of Pro for 99, but I am having a bit of trouble. I have the current version no patches needed, but every time I launch Pro I have to sign on to Cornucopia and synchronize my activation. And, when I don’t the prog goes into trial version. 

I haven’t searched the form yet, anyone got a fix?

I use a round about method. I create a few snow blobs as objects and then eco-populate a pine. Then I turn it into an alpha.

If you are running Norton software it may have declared 3D Commune a Spammer by accident and sent it to the Blocked Senders List.

Thelby, I unfortunately agree, I am a Traditional Artist so this is not a must have and Complete would be the only sensible upgrade for me.  Pro 7 just does not have enough fire to put it on my Christmas List this year.  I will also pass up Car Pro 7 this year. 

The "piggy bank" is getting thin these days, my first priority is the granddaughter who has to have a new Blackberry.

Pro Studio 7 Chip, and it has very little to offer over the previous version, despite most of the reworked, sorry NEW.

Chipp is correct Pro is Esprit with the five basic Modules integrated. 

There are some small tweaks under the hood for rendering and slightly more efficient memory handling but little else. 

Complete with the additional modules, 12 I believe in all, was going to be the do-all as I don’t need all of the bells and whistles of Infinite and don’t use Poser. But with no discount as Thelby indicates and with additional $50 shipping for boxed version makes it very expensive. 

I guess the Studios will cough-up the extra coins. I think they missed a good retail opportunity on this one. So if you want a stable package you will want Complete or Infinite, but the others are toys and have a great many problems. 

They don’t have much competition so they can go for it, but these economic times are hard on all.
