Quote - Use the Grouping Tool to make the walls separate objects and then you can hide a wall as needed.
cheers,

I prefer this myself as you can drop and raise walls to render from different directions, Now you can even parent furniture to the wall so they don't get in way of the camera.
Sometimes you want additional roof and floor behind the dropped wall to give you more freedom in positioning the camera.

Thread: Poser memory | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You are mixing up harddrive storage with ram, right click on task bar and open task manager, switch to performance and watch physical memory, I guess you either have 2 million or 4 million kilobytes. Look how far down the physical memory drop then you render.
Thread: Poser memory | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Have run into this problem before, usually if you save after a render?
This was poser pro 2010 32 bit. The problem is that poser uses all it’s memory doing the render and get confused as you has enough memory to save after it’s done rendering.
How much memory do you have and that windows and poser version, do you run a 64 bit system?

Thread: Uhm.. have I painted myself into a corner here? I don't know how to continue... | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have a old (poser 4) set of props who create a good spreader bar, right and left cuff a two parts spreader bar parented to the cuffs and set to point at each other. Work very well can send it to you if you want.
the bar for both hands and legs would be harder and require a setup pose, you could probably use the point at tricks to give you some freedom with legs and let the arms cuffs fitting be moveable along the bar and parent the cuffs themselves to the fitting.
Thread: Using multiple monitors - is it an advantage? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Good budget solution, you get crt monitors thrown after you, I doubt you can find a pci express graphic card with only one video output today. The two monitors can have different size resolution and refresh rate. At work I use a 24" and a 17" secondary, at home 2*22".

Where can I find it? has problems with hair and boots for steph4, for other clothes it look like it works well to just parent them to her first.

*Rendo makes the rules and the Mods interpret the rules. Since I haven't seen any nudity tags on pictures of apes (which are humanoid in their proportions) I have to assume that someone lost his mind in this instance. *
Yes, to their defence it might be hard to follow the rules, a horse or a cat is an animal, a centaur or furry catgirl is obviously not, however this alien is not really humanoid, more like a carton character who run into someone was mechanically thinking creature who walk on two legs=humanoid and nudity rules apply. Behind a nudity tagged picture of an alien I would except to se something like a Klingon or Na'vi not a cartoon character.
Thread: Know issue or just my luck? Is the Joint Editor broken in PP2010? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I have the same problem, centre fall to the floor then you try to edit anything.
As I understand it’s happening then you use comma as decimal separator, change to . then using it or use an older version of poser. Will probably be fixed on the first update.
Thread: Is 64bit Worth it? | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
You will get 512MB more memory as the graphic card 512MB is included in the 4GB pool, might get more useable memory to as I the 4GB limit restrict you from using swap file.
The real benefit is that it gives you the option to upgrade to more than 4GB,
I also found 32bit poser pro 2010 pretty unstable on my old XP system but it had issues.
Main downside is that you have to reinstall windows, my advise is to go 64 bit then you have to reinstall anyway or wait until you buy more memory.
Thread: Changing V4 skin tones | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Believe the change is skin tone only changed the diffuse and highlight base colour.
So you can replicate this yourself by just applying it to V3 and see the difference, then do the same changes to V4 textures. You would have to change all the relevant material
You can save the material then you are done.
However you will get far better result using an African texture like Grace.
Thread: PP 2010 x64 not using resources. | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
I think it’s typical, I run into the same problem myself then I copied animations, copied 120 frames for v4 it took 2-3 minutes. However I did not copy the entire body at once and few morphs was key framed.
As other say the frame copying is badly programmed, probably better to save and restore poses, who also give you the option to reuse the poses later. Use copy keyframes to copy partial poses like arm movement.
Thread: Dynamic Clothing | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Quote - There's 2 (count them, 2) pages of dynamic clothing at Daz. (20 items, of which one is a bundle of the existing items).
There's 159 items here in the marketplace... and that doesn't include freebies.
Says a lot, doesn't it?
To make things worse, dynamic clothes for poser are simple to make, you also has the tricks of making the skirt of conforming dresses dynamic, this is easy and work very well.
Thread: Problem closing & saving in PP2010 | Forum: Poser - OFFICIAL
Can you save and then close without saving? Always use that method myself as it feels safer.
Do you run it on a 32 bit system? I had lots of problems with it running out of memory and misbehave with 32 bit.
Might also be a character object you use who causes problems.
